Ellura gave me my quality of life and health back
Ellura changed my life. I am a 21-year-old woman who has battled with UTI's my entire life and most recently, kidney stones. For a year and a half I have dealt with monthly and sometimes, bi-monthly UTI's. I was emotionally and physically drained from being in chronic pain. I was prescribed upwards of five different types of prescriptions, only for another infection to occur within weeks. Nothing seemed to work. I became a patient of one of the most highly-regarded Urologists after a horrific stay in the Urology wing at the University of Michigan (my kidney stone surgery went wrong at a different local hospital). After I heeled up, he prescribed me a low dose of an antibiotic to see if it would help keep infections away. The antibiotic "worked", however, even though I would drink ten glasses of water each day and completely cut out caffeine, it would make me very nauseated and I still frequently battled with the uncomfortable feeling and intense urgency. I knew something wasn't right and I was losing hope. After a few months, a family friend who was having similar issues told me about Ellura. She was seeing another doctor in the same Urology department and he was the one that suggested it to her. I gave it a try and I can honestly say it is a miracle. It has been three months now and I haven't had a single infection. I RARELY feel uncomfortable, but when I do, I double up on water, and take an extra pill the next day as recommended on the box. It clears up any uncomfortable feeling in no time. NOTE: It takes about 6 weeks to really feel the full effects and you HAVE to follow the instructions: take the pill every single day, with a glass of water, and at the same time. Otherwise, it won't be fully effective. I couldn't be happier with the results of this supplement! Thank you Ellura for literally giving me my quality of life back. Summary/Pros: - Take with or without food (no nausea occurs like many prescriptions can cause) - Easy to swallow - It's a supplement, not a prescription so you cannot build immunity - Becomes fully effective (in my opinion) after about 4-6 weeks - Has helped reduce the urgency feeling I used to have - Builds a healthier urinary tract; fighting off infection BEFORE it happens Cons: - A tad pricey, but....in my opinion, there is no price label on health and quality of life.

It's expensive, but a great product
This is a great preventative to keep the urinary tract healthy. I hate that it's so expensive, that is probably the biggest downfall. Outside of that, it's good for women who are prone to getting UTI's. It also helps with IC symptoms. There are four supplements every woman should have on hand at all times (definitely if you have IC)...Ellura, D-Mannose, Cystex Plus, and Marshmellow root. But if you can't afford this long term, D-Mannose is also as good, but you need to take higher doses of it. But, if you can swing this, it's definitely a good product. Hopefully they will drop the price a little as time goes on.

If you use catheters you need to use this stuff
So I love this stuff I’ve been a catheter user for years and have chronic UTIs and in fact I have bacteria that’s constantly in my bladder. The only other option that people don’t know about is the active ingredient in AZ oh he’ll be taken by pills but it’s also a derivative of formaldehyde so obviously I wanted to find some thing that wasn’t quite so toxic . I do love this but the price is really really difficult to deal with there is a generic version of this that is about a half the cost I think it works OK him and I’ve actually switched to it because of the costs involved so if you use it daily might wanna consider that and see if it works good for you or not but definitely these are great it has to do with a particular ingredient but these are not normal cranberry pills so don’t you think you can use regular cranberry and it’ll work these are two totally different and these actually have studies done with people that have catheters . My hope is that one day these will be available by like a prescription version that can be run through the insurance but definitely worth the money.

Great product, just be sure to buy from the manufacture and not the shady second-hand reseller.

Expensive. Gets rid of pain, but not UTI. Not preventive.
I feel like it does work, but it is expensive! I was just taking one after sex and it seemed to work but then I got the first tinglings of a UTI. I took 2-3 pills a day for 3 days and the UTI went away. I was quite happy not to have to take antiboitics, but also a little upset the UTI showed up in the first place (I thought the pills would have prevented it). Each pills costs ~$1.64 each so it kinda adds up especially when I see other UTI pills are a fraction of that! I think its a bit too much cost-wise to use every single day, but it does work on an as-needed basis. UPDATE: UTI did not go away, the pills just masked the pain so I didn't realize I had one. So I delayed treatment for 2 weeks.
