Petratools Sprayer Company Is Reliable
I purchased this last year and really love it. I spray my roses and other flowering bushes and a little bottle sprayer is not a very good option. I can’t carry a larger sprayer and don’t really need a large one, anyway. I found this sprayer easy to use, as well. I just took it out to use it today and the plunger wasn’t producing the pressure needed to spray. I contacted Petratools Customer Servicee for help. I reached Anne, a wonderful customer representative, explained my problem and sent her a photo of the defective part and my Amazon information from the order. She was so helpful! The sprayer was under warranty and she is shipping me a new sprayer . Good customer service means so much to me. Companies that stand behind their products are getting harder to find. I appreciate the Perratools Company for their excellent service and for hiring Customer Representatives like Anne who are so customer-oriented.

PLEASE READ: STURDY, WORKS PERFECTLY, REGISTERED THIS WITH THE COMPANY!
I purchased another brand of a gallon pump sprayer and it leaked, and didn’t work! I returned it in favor for this gallon size sprayer. Before I bought it I read that the CUSTOMER SERVICE from the company is EXCELLENT AND THEY STAND BY THEIR PRODUCT. That’s what really helped me to choose this product above all others because majority of companies can not be relied on to help you, especially after the Amazon window closes. It was an only a few dollars more than the other I originally ordered, but you pay for QUALITY . THE PLASTIC IS THICK AND STRONG, and it pumped up very EASILY , EFFECTIVELY, and EFFICIENTLY. It’s very easy to carry around and that COMFORT is essential, especially if you’re using it on a lot of items.Using it is a DREAM and the spray nozzle works perfectly, just as the extra one does, and this was included in the set.I’ll be using it for my rose bushes, ornamental trees and bushes. I feel VERY secure with it, but I know if I have a problem, I can reach out to the company. I’m SUPER PLEASED with this purchase and feel that I will be using it in years to come! I’d highly recommend it! A+++I registered my product by calling the store phone number provided on the directions manual and Anne was delightful to speak to. She was Professional and personable!!! 5 stars for Anne and the customer service department.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT BECAUSE ITS EXCELLENT, AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EXCELLENT. I’M SUPER PLEASED WITH THIS PURCHASE. BUY WITH CONFIDENCE!!!

Solid, Reliable Sprayer That Gets the Job Done – Perfect for Yard Work & Home Use!
I’ve gone through my fair share of pump sprayers over the years, and the Petratools 1 Gallon Pump Sprayer stands out as one of the best I’ve used so far.Right out of the box, it feels well-built. The plastic is thick and sturdy — not the flimsy kind that makes you nervous it’ll crack mid-use. The pump action is smooth and builds pressure quickly, and the spray wand has a comfortable grip that doesn’t leave my hand sore after a full tank.I’ve used it mainly for spraying weed killer and liquid fertilizer around the yard, and it distributes evenly with a good range. I like that it comes with adjustable nozzles, so I can switch between a fine mist and a more direct stream depending on the task. Also, the safety pressure release valve is a great touch — gives me peace of mind when I’m done. The one-gallon size is perfect for small to medium jobs — not too heavy when full, and easy to carry around. Cleaning it is simple, too. Just rinse and let it dry.If you’re looking for a dependable sprayer for garden work, pest control, or even light cleaning solutions, this one’s a winner. Petratools nailed it.

Works well, but has some issues.
I could not give 5 stars because there is a very weak design in the sprayer wand. The longer straight part of the want connects to the handle/trigger via a screw-on connector that has 1 O-ring.The problem is that that connection is a very weak point in an otherwise good sprayer. As I tried to connect the want to the handle there is NO indication on the want nor instructions as to hold far to push the wand into the handle in order to make a proper connection. As I studied that connection I realized that as you connect the want to the handle side you have to PUSH the two parts together until they connect. When the two parts connect you will feel them touching. That is when you can tighten the compression connector.HINT: You MUST make sure that the little O-ring in on the wand and inside the screw on connector. If that O-ring falls out there will be a leak at that connection. There are no instructions to tell the customer the things I just wrote. That is a MAJOR oversight IMO.Once I figured out how to make the best connection, I then started to tighten the screw on compression nut.I am experienced with mechanical things and I made sure to NOT overtighten the nut. However, still it broke/cracked along the side. That is NOT a good design, and the nut is thus cheaply made, as it should be able to handle much more torque than what I gave it.Luckily, the crack has not resulted in a lead, for now.The want needs a redesign so that there are TWO rubber O-rings, once that sits on the handle side, and one for the wand side. To hold those O-rings in place, there needs to be a raised bump/stay on, at least. the wand side so that the user knows how far to push the handle and wand together without the O-ring falling off, as happened to me about 3 times as I figured out how to connect the wand.Other than that poor design, and cracked compression connector, the sprayer works well. That funnel open is very nice as it gives the user a lot of catch area when filling. The pump itself fits nice and securely into the funnel. The pump works well. I filled to maximum two gallons, and gave it the maximum 30 pumps. The spray pressure is good as I got a very nice vertical distance to reach the tops of my fruit trees.I would say it easily reached 20 feet. For those who do not know, you HAVE TO keep pumping up the pressure as you use the sprayer. As the pressurized air is used to push out the liquid the overall internal pressure in the tank drops, as that is how these things work. I've read some reviews complaining that they have to keep pumping the pressure into the sprayer, because, "It would not hold pressure.". Yes, that is how a pressurized sprayer works. The air the user compresses comes out with the liquid, as the pressurized air comes out. So, you have to pump the sprayer again and again and again, as the pressure inside the sprayer drops. The "adjustable" spray tip does work, as you can adjust the spray from a stream to a fine mist. However, don't expect this adjustment to work so easily. There VERY little adjustment on that tip where it goes from stream to spray, as it happens in micro movement of the "adjustable" tip. Do not think that a couple of turns will adjust the spray in increments from stream to spray.NO. Those increments happens in VERY little adjustment, very quickly, such that you will wonder why someone did not make a better workable design.Overall, yes, I adjusted to the adjuster, but it is not a good design. The only other complaint, and it's minor, is that shoulder strap. It is worthless IMO, because a full 2 gallons has some weight, and that strap is much too narrow to make that weight comfortable on your shoulder.I found it easier to hold the tank by the pump's handle as I moved around. Also, it does not good to try and keep this sprayer on your shoulder as you have to pump up the pressure quite regularly, and you can't do that effectively when the sprayer is on your shoulder, as you have nothing to pump against. The best way to pump the pressure into the sprayer is to put the sprayer on the ground and then pump.I will likely send a message to the company and ask them to send me a new wand connector nut to replace the cracked one.Overall, this sprayer worked well. Still, it lacks proper and needed instructions. And, the wand to handle connection is worse than basic. Minor design change would result in a much better connector and connection.
