Wow this is so good. Better than expected, even with the high reviews. Simple, clean ingredients. Made in Thailand authentic. Not salty, so you can add your own to taste (or bouillon). I've only tried the Penang curry, but excited to try others from this brand. Paste comes inside the tub in a vacuum sealed bag. Instead of using the plastic container, I have it stored inside an airtight mason jar in fridge.A little goes a long way, perhaps a tablespoon packs a huge punch for a meal. I've been making a chickpea coconut curry with this paste. Recipe: 1 can drained chickpea, half can whole coconut milk, half can water, tablespoon tomato paste, fresh Thai basil, fresh green onion, frozen spinach (perhaps 1 cup?). Mae Ploy Penang paste, fish sauce (umami, not fishy), beef better than bouillon, pepper, and salt to taste. Add in a couple eggs at the end and immediately stir until well incorporated. Serve alone, over rice, or try over tilapia.Buying some more before tariffs crank the price up.

I've attempted to make Thai curry on several occasions. What I come up with is typically good, but not quite like going to a Thai restaurant. This curry paste makes green curry like a 5 star restaurant, and was so much easier than me trying to put something together from scratch. It does run a bit spicy for most people, but I found that if I add lime juice, the spiciness subsides a lot!I made the best curry I and my partner have ever had with this stuff. 1 part coconut milk to 2 parts chicken stock, used the paste as instructed (maybe a little extra). Velveted chicken and simmered it in the sauce with veggies (bell pepper, zucchini, carrot, broccoli, onion, and star anise). I added the star anise as I could not get Thai basil - apparently this helps add the extra flavor that standard basil lacks. Added a big handful of regular sweet basil once everything was cooked through.Crazy good! If this stuff goes out of stock, it's probably because I bought it all.

Spicy and perfect for coconut milk. Lasts a long time too.

I love Thai curries, but much of the stuff available at my local supermarket is rather bland. I decided to try this curry paste and found it to produce much better flavor. Plus, it’s so easy to use! As anticipated, this green curry is pretty spicy, which I can control by using less paste in my recipes. Even with some extra coconut milk, it’s still too spicy for my wife, though. These are rather salty, too. I bought two tubs of this green curry paste, and each show an expiration date that is 18 months away - nice!

I have been using the yellow, red, green and panang paste, and I love them. These are really good quality and pricing and go a long way with some coconut milk! Great value for the money and taste is fabulous. We never go out for curry any more as my husband says mine is better (thanks to these products). The green is slightly saltier, but I just cut it more with coconut milk. All are very flavorful, and I'm the wrong person to ask about heat level since I always add more heat, even to the ones that say hot. I buy the fresh thai chilis from the market and add them for a really authentic taste. Leakproof packaging is great and the bag inside the plastic containers help open containers last at least 5-6 big pot meals.

Delicious, adds complex flavor quickly to soup or stir fry.

Love this brand!! I’m a home cook and love to cook all foods, including Asian. This is the perfect blend and so reasonably priced. I’d recommend.

I bought this thinking I might need to use immediately since I got an unusually low cost but was happily surprised this expiration date is next year. I also came to me in a timely manner.
