EGR Battery Replacement for Dyson V6 Animal/Absolute/SV/DC Series Cordless Vacuums, Includes Filters

Whenever there is a need to replace an original part with a new part, there is always the question as to whether you replace it with the vendor’s original replacement (often expensive) or a “compatible with” part which is often cheaper, but provenance & quality may be questionable. In this case this replacement battery was without doubt a brilliant choice. We’ve had it a while now. It charges well, and holds its charge. In use, we see significantly more life from this battery than we ever saw from the original (which failed) and so can get plenty more cleaned up in one go. This battery has really rejuvenated our cordless, hand-held vacuum, and I might cheekily suggest that Dyson fit it as standard on the original unit!

A great alternative to the expensive original. Super easy to replace, even a girl can do it. Works perfectly, plus it comes with two extra filters. You can't get those anywhere else. I think the battery is just as good as the original.

Replaced an old Dyson original. Very easy to fit. Lasts well when in use. Very simple and straightforward replacement of the original. The filters are a bonus. Looks very similar to the original. Very happy.

Third-party replacement battery for my Dyson V6. The package came with not only the battery but also replacement filters, which was a nice bonus and saved me from having to order those separately. Installation was super easy with the included screwdriver, took me less than five minutes with the help of youtube videos. After a full charge, the vacuum ran just like it used to when it was new. The filters also seem high quality and there's a noticeable difference in airflow. Overall, this replacement battery has given my V6 a new lease on life. Highly recommended!

Battery fitted and working perfect

only used it once and so far ok but if you have a DC59 the rear filter that the company supplies says it will fit but it does not fit the DC 59 that we have so paying extra for that is not worth the extra cost, but regarding the battery we have hoovered the complete house without having to charge the battery.

Honestly, I never understood people who throw away their vacuum just because the battery stops working. (That’s actually how I got my Dyson a few years ago!) All it takes is a quick and easy battery swap, and you’re good to go. The installation was a breeze - even the screwdriver was included in the kit, so I didn’t have to search for any tools. If your Dyson is struggling with battery life, don’t give up on it! This replacement is a great solution and works just as well as the original.
