These shades are very nice, great price. But I didn't have a problem with bottom tube in shade coming apart in mild wind and letting shade fly around. I fixed this problem by pulling a end cap out of tube on one end. Putting tubes back together and tape with package tape. Slide tube back in shade and reinstall end cap. Also I didn't use the bungee cord receivers. I have a 3/4" square tubing fence. I took the bungee retainer off the bungee, put bungee thur end cap, then put retainer back on bungee. Wrap bungee around fence, then hook bungee and slide retainer up against bungee ball. Then snug shade tight.

My husband and I love this! We are so thrilled we purchased this !Our master is in straight sun light first thing in morning into afternoon and our room used to be almost 80 degrees even though it’s AC on because of the sun light/heat coming in so we put this up on our balcony and our room has been cool and even helps block out some light! Keeps the room darker longer!Super easy to install husband put it up in 15 min! Comes with install guide sheet to help make it straight and get it lined up correctly ! Love it ! Plus it’s lasted a few rain and wind storms !

Great shade and easy to install. DIY tip: as mentioned before n some other reviews, stronger winds will push the shade inward causing the bottom bar to slide apart inside the bottom sleeve making difficult to slide back together. Here’s the tip: before sliding the rod into the bottom sleeve, slide the rods together as instructed, then put a very small metal screw (rounded head) at the center of the rod where the two cross each other in the middle. This step solves that problem. Enjoy your shade.

I saw the prior reviews about the bottom poles separating after being installed. I had the same issue. But I had planned a fix it if it happened to me. And it did! So I removed the 2 post, then put them back together, placed the connected post in a vice, then drill a very small hole the size of a small nail, I pushed the nail through the holes then cut off the nail flush with the post. The flat or head of the nail will prevent the nail from backing of the post connection point when it’s back inside the shade.Other than this little issue I like the shade. I mounted mine a little high so I may buy a longer wand.

EXACTLY as described and EXACTLY what we wanted. The instructional video made installation by one person look easier than it is in most cases; an extra pair of hands simplifies everything. There is NO heavy lifting. We bought 3, and after installing the first, I replaced the phillips-head screws provided with square-drive. Much easier to drive by hand. I WOULD RECOMMEND THESE BLINDS TO ANYONE WHO CAN WORK ON A LADDER AND OPERATE A SCREWDRIVER.

When ordering, your not ordering the size of the fabric your ordering the size of the poles. It also came 1.5 in shorter than ordered. It does work on the heat. Expensive for the quality. color is nice though. We got the grey. Product of china.

We purchased two for our east-facing back porch. The installation instructions were easy to follow. It took about two hours to install. The fit and finish is very nice. The porch is now a relaxing place to enjoy our morning coffee and evening drinks. We plan on getting two more for the patio sides.
