Jonnie Walker 18 years ( AKA Johnnie Walker platinum ). Ticks all the boxes. All scotches are a matter of personal taste & this one to me is better & not as harsh as Blue Label & half the price although a Blue Label fan will say that is rubbish. All i can say is that if you want a realy nice scotch that you are not just going to throw down your neck then this is worth a try.

Perfect gift

This is a lovely little whisky. It's got a lot of JW's Platinum Label going on but is completely different in the finish. The first sip felt a bit rough compared to normal JW fair but then I took another and my view changed completely. It's got a smoky burn in the finish that gets better with every sip and shares some of the sweet goodness from Platinum. Definitely worth a try but allow for it not being super smooth in the finish and, hopefully, enjoy it just just as much for that! For the comparative costs, if you are considering this and Platinum Label or if you've tried Platinum and are wondering if this is worth a try - I'd go for the Platinum. If you are curious and want to try it though the JW 18 is still definitely worth a try!

Was value for money - the bottle quality excellent- the smoothness smokeiness and warmth made it a really nice drink

A very nice low priced whiskey. Only a hint of smoke. Chocolatey and smooth. Much nicer than the 15yo which is too smokey for my pallete.

Compré este whisky para darme un gusto y disfrutar de un buen trago después de un día largo, y la verdad es que no decepciona: sabor suave, equilibrado y muy elegante al paladar. Lo bueno es que se nota la maduración de 18 años, con notas complejas que hacen que cada sorbo sea distinto y agradable. Perfecto para tomar solo, con hielo o incluso en cócteles sofisticados. Lo que mejoraría es que el precio podría ser un poquito más accesible para consumo frecuente, pero para ocasiones especiales es totalmente recomendable.

Zu dem Inhalt der Flasche möchte ich mal nichts angeben. das haben hier bereits viele andere Käufer getan. Ich beziehe mich mal auf Verpackung, Flasche und Preis. Die Verpackung aus hochwertiger Pappe ist wirklich gut gestaltet und die Flasche ist darin auch gut aufgehoben. Die Flasche sieht wirklich toll aus und beides macht daraus eine sehr hochwertig aussehende Kombination. Für diese Art Johnnie Walker bezahlt man im freien Handel ca. 85,-€. Bei Amazon bekommt man diese für rund 65,-€ und im Abo sogar für 55,-€. Die Preis-Leistung ist daher in Kombination mit Amazon einfach unschlagbar. Klar ist der Inhalt Flache auch dementsprechend gut.
