This lamp appears to be of high and great build quality. The price point for this is just right and it looks like a OEM replacement. There was no problem with installation and it made the difference in my home theater. Don't think twice with buying this for your projector.

Fits Epson 8700 UB perfectly - looks identical to OEM
My original bulb finally went out on my Epson 8700 UB and I had looked around a little for a replacement but they were well over $100 and closer to $200 so I was debating just buying a newer projector.When I saw this bulb for just over $50 I figured I would just give it a try as the worst thing I could think of is that it was not bright or would not fit, but this fits and is bright as the original!!This takes a few seconds to take the old one out and push (and then screw) the new one in. I would take the extra 30 seconds to clean off the filter as mine was pretty nasty and probably what did mine in (that or the 1,000+ hours).Overall, very pleased with the price, the fit, and the power of this bulb. So far no issues and if I have some any time soon I will update this review. Last thing, don't forget to reset your bulb hours in settings so you know when the new one is starting to need replacing.
