yes,also good for long cat hair.

What sort of tools does it come with, and how well do they do the job?

It comes with two tools. One is the crevass tool which also has a brush attached which slides out of the way and the other is the upholstery tool. They work very well but the crevass tool doesn't get into the really small places

What size is the motor in a dc 25

Checked it all over and checked the invoice and no where does it say the size of motor , asked my husband and he thinks 1900 / 2,000 as it has good suction. Sorry not stated anywhere.
