I've used these before but purchased the heavier set, so I new what i was getting. I mix with dumbells and it works for me. The advantages with resistance bands they are inexpensive, can be taken on holiday, can be used with limited room and if you are just getting into fitness this is a good way to start.

I got these for my son and two teenage grandchildren who are into body toning and keeping fit.The bands have carabiners on each end. There are two handles and two ankle straps that can be used with them.There is also a door anchor. That can be fed through the gap in the door and the door is then secured shut and it does work wellThe resistance bands can be clipped on or threaded through the door anchor depending on which exercise they are doing.I must say it is a really nicely made and well finished set with varying levels of resistance that also allows my daughter-in-law to use the lighter versions for her aerobic workouts.They have all found the cushioned hand grips comfortable to use.The resistance goes 10, 20, 30, 50, 70 and 90lbs. The bands can be used in combination to achieve up to 270lbs.My only criticisms are the poster exercises are quite small pictorially so not that easy to see on the move.Plus as they use it in the garage I was a bit concerned about floor abrasion to the band core when treading and sandwiching it to the ground when exercising. To avoid wear and tear they just use a small had towel that overcomes this.Everything fits easily into the small drawstring bag supplied which makes it very lightweight and portable.As it can be packed so easily they use it in both the garage and conservatory , depending on the weather.All in all It's reasonably priced (£27.99 at the time of the review) and overall works well and the quality of the finish and attachments definitely makes it worth 4-5 stars..

Good quality residence bands, I've used mine for a few months now and they are still in good condition, these resistance bands have bigger stronger clips and the resistance is higher than most other brands, 90 pounds resistance on one band means I need fewer bands on the handles to reach higher resistances, for me that meant buying three sets of bands for ease of use is worth it, I train alone at home using over three hundred pounds on some lifts, working out alone they are very safe, if I fail a lift I can just release my grip and let them fall with out damage to me or the floor. The only criticism is they only have a weight tag on one end which is not a big deal but, nine times out of ten I'll pick up the end with out the tag. !!!

Perfect for my needs

Item as described. Very comfortable to use, doesn't take to much space comparing to traditional gym equipment.Seems to be durable.I ma definitely going for next set to extend my strength with mor weights.
