True Utility TU241B-P CashStash Waterproof Emergency Cash Capsule for Key Ring

I bought one of these after my wallet was pickpocketed on the London tube and I ended up stuck with no money and no way to get home. With this stash I can keep a note in my pocket all the time now, so I'll never get caught out again! Couple of things to know if you're thinking about buying one - you can only fit one note in there, so you can't carry a lot of money around. The finish will rub off very quickly, so it won't look like the picture for long. The clip inside seems to be completely redundant and actually makes it loads harder to roll the note - I found this product pretty frustrating until I pulled the clip out and just rolled the note up on its own! Overall though great little product for anyone who wants to be prepared for all eventualities, and now a permanent part of my Every Day Carry loadout.

Took some effort to get the note in there and, as yet, I have not needed to remove it. However it is nice to know it is there. The pod is so small that I do not notice it on the key ring and despite rattling in my pocket along with the keys it looks as good as new. This was an excellent buy , and that is before you include the free splashproof case it came in! Well worth the money.

Very cool to have but it’s the same as the cheap ones all it has is the different logo on it. (Water proof great )

I’ve had one of these for years, but recently bought my partner one as she keeps forgetting her purse.Within 24 hours she had cause to use it as the card machines at the local shopping centre had stopped working. Having this meant she didn’t have the hassle of chasing round trying to find a cash machine.

Update: after a year or less, the bottom half of the capsule and the cash is lost as it must have came loose with the top of capsule and fall out of pocket. Good while it last.Got this for my partner who often forget his wallet. Lucky he got this cash stash to pay for his petrol at the station.I was worry that it might be a bit fiddly for him to roll the note in but he had no problem as long he uses the prong as instructed. The note came out a bit creased but hey it's the only cash he got so the shopkeeper had to take it.

Stash a 20 (carefully rolled up) because you never know when you might need it!

It took a little bit of experimenting to get the notes folded the right way but it's well worth it.My 'emergency twenty' has saved me having to hunt for a cash machine late at night or during a lunchtime rush when they're queued up. It's also allowed me to jump into a cab with an empty wallet knowing I can pay.Don't know how I lived without it..

This seems like a nice item, but it has one very big design flaw.When screwing on the cap, it pushes off the O-ring, loosing the cap, and removing the waterproofing.I will return this.Get the + model instead, it seems great.

Nya modellen. Jag har gamla modellen som är bra. Den nya är dålig. Gängtrasig efter lite användning.

Excellente petite capsule que j'ai attaché à mon porte-clés de maison avec un billet de 20€ dedans. Ne pas prévoir d'en mettre plus car espace très réduit.

I love this little thing. Excellent quality and durability, waterproof. I use it for important pills not money. Pills I can forget to take or need in case of an emergency are now on my keychain which makes it impossible to forget. Buying one for my wife also as its just the best little cant forget storage no matter what you use it for. Putting one on my UTV keys also for 4 wheeling in the mountains and at the beach. The clear plastic case it comes in is also a total keeper and VERY cool.

Parece tener materiales muy durables, ha estado en mi bolsa del pantalón por 4 semanas en contacto con las llaves y hasta el momento ningún raspadura, lo utilizo para guardar medicamento y funciona sin problemas y se aísla perfectamente del agua.
