Thick glass and sturdy - better than plastic
I listened to a science programme on BBC telling me how much plastic is leached into food from tupperware and that glass containers are best. These are thick glass and sturdy and seem to be good value compared with other offers. I am gradually removing my plastic containers, especially those that are discoloured or scratched, which are the worst for releasing plastics into food and may well get some more of these.
