Does the pattern continue on the very bottom/base of the glass?

The embossed pattern is only on the areas you can visible see in the pictures which cover the entire glass. The bottom of the glass that would sit on the table is flat.

Is it completely smooth inside or are there vague sunken dimples that corrospond to the outer bumps?

Completely smooth inside. I love these. Other brands are only 13oz so I got these instead. Wish they had aqua blue but clear looks nice too.
