Size is approximately 12" by 8" and is quite firm.

I've had mine over a year now so it's probably compressed slightly. from the original. Around 3'' (7.5mm). It's very comfortable and supports lumbar region well. It also stays put on my office chair thanks to the elastic belt.

Q: Is this cushion moulded or shaped at all?

It's slightly shaped to fit the dip at your back. I use mine on my car seat and it's made driving much more comfortable. It is firm but does the job.

Q: Is this able to be folded or would it fit in a rucksack easily and not take up much room?

I don't think it would fold very easily, and fitting it in a rucksack would very much depend on the size of your rucksack. You'd need to check it's dimensions against the size of your bag. It's quite a sturdy thing which works well for it's intended purpose.
