Product is really very good in terms of fast cooking, number of operable modes, auto off, beep sound indicator, robust operation under voltage fluctuations, power saving mode, slow cooking mode. Best in the Philips pipeline of induction cooktop. Any SS vessel with flat surface above 12-15 cm diameter can be used. Only thing which missed was the user manual from the seller and packaging looked bit old, don't know what the problem in packing. Overall satisfied purchase and 1 more to add on pros 3 years coil warranty and gets cooled very soon after use.

Very good product by phillips. Fast cooking. It is very easy to clean. Build quality is good. Value for money.

Product works fine and heats up quickly but packaging is worst. While receiving, one ferrite bar was loose and fell inside the box. Kindly improve packaging. Controls are responsive.

I bought the Philips HD4995 induction cooktop during the recent LPG shortage when prices were high (around ₹5500). Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Packaging & condition: The outer box was not in good condition, and the product inside looked like it had already been opened. It did not feel like a factory-sealed unit. Also, one of the bottom grips was missing, which made the cooktop slightly unstable on the surface. Initial performance: For the first few days, it worked fine. I used it to cook multiple dishes (3–5 items on the first day), and heating seemed okay. Issues after a few days: Within 5 days, I started getting E3 and E6 error codes, especially while using a pressure cooker. This is not expected from a new product under normal use and made me question the unit’s reliability. Cooking performance: For boiling and basic cooking, it works But for chapati/roti, performance is inconsistent Even at high power (2200W manual mode), heating drops or cycles, likely due to thermal protection This makes cooking uneven and frustrating for Indian dishes Overall concerns: Suspected returned/used unit Missing part (bottom grip) Early error codes (E3/E6) Inconsistent heating for real cooking needs Because of these issues, I chose to return the product. Amazon offered a refund as replacement was not available. The product might work if you get a proper sealed unit, but based on my experience, quality control and consistency are questionable. Not ideal for heavy or regular Indian cooking, especially at this price.

Using this induction cooktop for the last 1 year and it still looks like a new product. The glass surface has maintained its shine, and the build quality feels very strong and durable. It heats up quickly and makes cooking faster. It has helped a lot in saving gas expenses during the recent gas price hikes and global conflicts. The material feels solid and premium, making it a great choice for daily cooking.

This is my first induction. The induction is preety sleek and design very pleasing. It functions properly for most of cooking. The controls are very easy and understandable. Value for money. Build quality is sturdy. Easy to clean. Made from premium material. Only one cons is that I'm not able to cook roti or chappatis properly I've tried lots of pan but still the rotis are not cooking properly.
