The lamp unit seems very robust, well sealed and easy to mount with the 2 screws provided. But I bought it for an additional reversing light to help see further in dark yards when parking up, and it’s not as bright as the existing LED reversing lights. If you need a robust, weatherproof area light that is not excessively bright, then this is spot on, but as an additional reverse or flood light this doesn’t really cut it.

Good little item easy to fit and wire up

I already have a fog light which is identical to this (other than it is red) of the back of my land rover so this looks perfect in position on the car. It is easy to fit (2 wires) and the cable is long enough to pass through the bodywork to the connectors - perfect for my needs.

Very bright light and good for reversing at night. It’s plastic but seems robust

This is quite bright light using a standard 12 volt battery system and does indeed provide a bright light output and being LED based should last for ages with no fear of bulb failure unlike the traditional bulb type like for like counterparts. It comes with two fixing self-tapping screws that I used to site this on our box trailer and it really lights up the area behind it quite well both when reversing and its use to see when unloading. Being waterproofed, all we did was to drill a hole for the (10 inches long) cable to go thorough and connect it up - simple.
