Good Looking Combo!
I initially picked up the Royal Legend Pro casting reel uncertain that I wanted a completely purple combo. A few weeks later I changed my mind and ordered the rod. It looks Amazing!!! Love the setup!

Excellent quality
This is a great quality rod blank. IM7. Anyone who knows anything about fishing probably has multiple of the IM blanks in there arsenal. High recommend. And the new hook keeper are great! Absolutely gorgeous colors and it really pops in the sunlight!

Snapped in half after 9 fish
The most beautiful rod Iโve had, but snapped after 7 bass and 2 northern pike :(

Exactly what I was looking for for cranking deep smallies
This is a great looking rod in a size I was looking for, to do some deep cranking for smallies. I bought the 7'5" MH with moderate speed and could be a favorite rod when I hit the deeper lakes. Except for the joint. It actually holds together very well and I don't think I will have anything to worry about even though it does not seat together completely as I show in the video. Most all other 2 piece rods I have ever owned do not put the extra knot/wrap on the male end like they did here. All the others simply allow you to join the 2 halves and you push it on as far as you can go. In this case it appears as if they either wanted it to go on further or they measured wrong and placed the knot/wrap in the wrong place. So far with some practice casts it works great and feels great but it does not get 5 stars even though it is a nice rod for this price.
