GENBOLT 3G/4G LTE Cellular Solar Security Camera Outdoor Wireless, 8W 15600mAh Battery Operated Surveillance Camera No WiFi, Dual Lens Spotlight IP Camera CCTV with SIM Card

This is my review of a purchased item and not part of any evaluation or free product. The Genbolt 4G SIM security camera is ideal for those hard to reach places outdoors that has no wifi access or LAN or POE wiring connections and because it has its own 8W solar panel included and a substantial rechargeable battery, having no electricity supply nearby not a problem at all. The camera came with a 4G sim card already installed and data access was activated as soon as I connected the camera to the Genbolt app using my mobile phone which is simply accomplished by scanning the QR code on the camera. The sim card included has 300Mb of free data for setting the camera up. Afterwards more data can be purchased online for 30 days use, €9 being the minimum cost, depending on how much data is required. The camera can use any 4G LTE sim card, if the settings for APN information is known. The quality of the camera is very good both construction and the optical resolution is sharp and clear, with the added advantage of having two cameras, one fixed and one that tilts and pans using the app on my phone. All camera settings are in the Genbolt app, including recorded video from both cameras, which can be viewed on my mobile phone. The easiest recording method is to use a SD card slotted into the camera body (purchased separately) but optional cloud subscription is available online if required. I temporary fixed the camera and solar panel outside on my garden arch to test it's effectiveness in capturing images, and the human detection is very accurate, with low, medium and high sensitivity settings. The IP rating is yet to be tested, as it was a nice sunny day when I fitted the camera, but it's designed for outdoors, so I will see how it fairs in wet, windy, and snow conditions over the winter months. Overall, I found it a good purchase, and it has fulfilled my main requirements of outdoor surveillance in a remote area. I rated this product 5 star, because it was simplicity itself to set up, and fulfilled all my requirements.

The camera has excellent video quality and movement tracking. It uses a SIM card and a solar panel, and the battery has always been fully charged and worked regardless of the weather. I had only one issue with the SD card or something similar, but it was resolved by the Genbolt team. My camera was replaced. I’m genuinely impressed with this GENBOLT dual-lens camera. Setup was quick and easy. Just fully charge it, download the GENBOLT app, and scan the barcode or connect via Bluetooth. It comes with a free pre-installed international data SIM to use straight away. The video quality is excellent crisp, clear. Night vision is powerful with a bright spotlight, and the camera hasn’t discoloured in the sun light. The solar panel keeps it fully charged at 100%. It's waterproof. It also features two way audio, local SD card storage, and optional cloud backup. Build quality is solid, and the whole system feels premium and reliable. Definitely a 5-star product!

I've had a lot of security cameras, but this one is the worst ever, won't connect, utter waste of money

great camera, the pan tilt and zoom function is great and the human detection and PIR detection work great too, I paid for a year of the data that comes with the included sim as it was reasonably priced and has good coverage where I am using it, although I believe other sims will work too if you have signal issues. I use it for security on my allotment which is off grid and away from any wifi and it performs brilliantly. I charged it manually through usb before setting it up with the solar panel and its not needed charging since. I don't have the data plan at the moment but I inserted a 128gb microsd and have set it to record when it detects movement though the PIR this function works great and I can view the recorded footage remotely, occasionally the remote link up can be a little slow but it works fine and can playback video stored on the sd no problem. if you're looking for a truly off grid camera that's pretty easy to use and great value for money then I recommend this one.

Great camera for certain uses outdoor. The setup is slightly more complicated if you wish to use your own nano SIM card. GENBOLT supplies their own sim with a small amount of data included but you can manually setup your own sim as long as you know the APN details and enter it at specific time when setting up camera. You do this through the GENBOLT app choose manual setup and look carefully at bottom of the screen and it allows you to setup your own Sim. Not very clear ! The camera is great for using to monitor large outdoor areas with top camera fixed in position but you can still zoom in on objects when viewing live feed. The other camera can be configured using predefined zones numbered 1 to 6. You use PTZ and then set an area to view. Then you can jump to the predefined zones to look around or use PTZ arrows to manually move about. The camera tracks human movement other movements in my case tree branches are alerted on app. I use the camera to monitor livestock in a large field and the Smarty (3 mobile) sim with unlimited data works wells with this camera (once configured). I am more than happy with this camera especially for the price. Solar powered and 4g network suits a large outdoor remote area perfectly. I would recommend this camera for the price. There are other more obscure 4g solar cameras in the market but they have build in 4G virtual sims which cannot be replaced. The next camera up in my opinion is the Reolink solar 4g camera but it is 3 times the price! Customer service within the app is also very good, with responses from live chat.

La cámara se instalo fácil y trabaja muy bien con la SIM y el panel solar. La imagen se ve nítida y las alertas llegan al momento. Por el precio, es una compra muy recomendable.

J’ai installé cette caméra sur mon bateau, La caméra fonctionne parfaitement le suivi des personnes aussi, les alertes, l’enregistrement, audio et vidéo. La qualité d’image jour comme nuit est impeccable J’en suis ravi Mais installation s’est très bien déroulée très facile. J’ai mis une carte SIM Auchan Telecom, reconnue de suite. Je confirme qu’elle a une très bonne autonomie sur sa batterie et que le panneau solaire est efficace, même après ayant passé quatre jours grisonnants. Cela fait un peu plus d’un mois qu’elle était installée. Je suis vraiment ravi de cet achat et je recommande fortement cette caméra en double objectif !!

De camera werd supersnel geleverd en ziet er mooi en degelijk uit. Installatie was gemakkelijk, de telefoonkaart was al geïnstalleerd. Na installatie werkte camera direct. De beelden zijn helder en het opladen via het zonnepaneel werkt perfect. Ik ben er heel blij mee, werkt prima om dieren in de wei en stal in de gaten te houden. Beveel de camera hiervoor echt aan. Gebruik de camera nu binnen in koeienstal, na de winter weer in de wei.
