Nice design,Works great
The Wire Stripper is a well-made, compact, and sturdy tool that is highly portable. Crafted from high-quality alloy, it’s built to last and performs well in a variety of tasks. Its ability to automatically strip 8-18 AWG solid and stranded wires, along with an adjustable stripping length and a heavy-duty alloy cutter head, makes it a reliable tool for precision work in electronics and automotive repairs.I particularly like the ergonomic design of the rubber handle, which provides a comfortable and secure grip, making it easy to apply force without hand fatigue, even after extended use. This makes it ideal for working in tighter spaces. Recently, I used it to rewire my car’s audio system, and the tool proved to be highly efficient and practical. One of its best features is the precision stripping. it removes the wire insulation without cutting too much or too little, ensuring the core remains intact, which is crucial for maintaining proper electrical connections. Whether using solid or stranded wire, the results are consistently clean. The tool is very easy to operate, just insert the wire, squeeze the handle lightly, and the insulation comes off effortlessly. Additionally, the adjustable stripping length allows you to customize according to your specific needs, adding to its convenience. This tool offers excellent value for money. Whether for household electrical repairs or automotive wiring, it handles tasks with ease.

They work, but 8awg may be too large
Review of the Kerry Wire Stripper: A Mixed Bag for Your Stripping NeedsThe Kerry Wire Stripper presents itself as a handy tool for anyone looking to tackle electrical work, whether it's for precision electronics or automotive repairs. With its automatic stripping capabilities suitable for 8-18 AWG solid and stranded wires, I was eager to put this device through its paces.Starting with the positives, I found that the wire stripper performs admirably with smaller gauge wires, particularly those in the 10 AWG range and below. The automatic stripping mechanism is intuitive, allowing for a clean and efficient strip without much hassle. The heavy-duty alloy cutter head adds a level of durability that instills confidence during use, making it a solid choice for light to medium-duty tasks. However, the performance begins to wane when you step up to larger gauge wires, specifically the 8 AWG. I encountered some issues where the tool tends to "chomp" a bit too deeply into the wire, which can lead to potential insulation damage or compromised wires if not handled carefully. This inconsistency raises concerns about reliability at the upper limits of its rated capacity. It’s worth mentioning that I have yet to experiment with the adjustable settings to possibly remedy the deeper cuts on larger wires. There may be a solution that lies in proper calibration, and I plan to explore that in my future uses. It's also possible that the particular brand or quality of the 8 AWG wire I tested could be a factor, as wire quality can greatly vary.In conclusion, the Kerry Wire Stripper is a solid tool for those who frequently work with smaller wires, delivering reliability and ease of use. However, users should approach the stripping of larger wires with caution and possibly invest some time in adjustment settings or testing different wire brands. Overall, it remains a worthy addition to any toolbox, just with a bit of caution required for the larger sizes.

Don't hesitate! If you strip wire, these will be the best money you can spend.
100/100I had a pair of strippers like these for years. My dad got them when he was in the air force a zillion years ago and they were great. Somehow . . . they went walkabout. So . . . I broke down after too many years using pocket knives, etc. and got these.Honestly, they are not as heavy and well built as the old ones, but I can easily see these lasting the rest of my life. They are well built, the action is positive, and they do their job.If you've never used a pair of these to strip wire, invest in a pair . . . you'll love 'em.Ultimately, is it worth the price? YES

Does not work for 8 AWG stranded as advertised
Bought it for 8 AWG stranded and it takes away a huge chunk of wire. Listing description needs to be updated! 8 AWG solid core only!

Good wire stripper
I really like this wire stripper because it makes doing a ton of wires a breeze! It works better for the bigger wires i noticed and doesn’t really take any wire off. Now for the smaller wires it does get a bit difficult and takes some wire off but for how fast I can strip wires I’m willing to take that trade off

They work
They strip wire just like they're supposed to. If you've used something similar before, then there's not much difference to using these. They're reasonably priced. The build quality is actually a little lower than I would like. Some of the mechanisms shift around a bit and I would prefer if they had a more solid feel to them.

Automatic Wire Stripper for Wire 8-18 AWG
These wire strippers are much easier to use than manual strippers. You just put the wire through to the desired stripped length, close the handles and pull. It strips the wires bare without damaging the wire. Overall a very good purchase.

Great stripper
This is a good stripper. The blade and grips are great which is what matters. It’s not super duty and I’ve already scratched it up. It’s also made for smaller hands. But that also makes them compact which is nice. They work well and I like the length gauge. Good stuff!
