The media could not be loaded. I recently got the SwitchBot Air Purifier with Night Light, and it’s been a game-changer for my home. One thing I love is how it actively monitors the air quality and shows you the levels in real-time through the app. If the air quality drops, it automatically adjusts its settings to clean the air faster, which is super reassuring, especially when cooking or during allergy season. The environmental Data shows you the air quality over a 30 day period which is awesome!The 3-layer filtration system works great—you can feel the difference in air freshness, and it's ideal for large spaces. The night light is a nice touch, adding a cozy vibe, and the 20dB sleep mode is so quiet I forget it’s running.The app is fantastic—managing and configuring the purifier is super intuitive, and the setup process couldn’t have been easier. Everything just works seamlessly, from customising schedules to controlling it remotely. If you’re looking for an air purifier that’s both efficient and easy to use, this one’s a winner.

I really like this air purifier. The construction is good, it’s easy to assemble, and I love the integrated wireless charger, however, when using other air purifiers I’ve tended to set up automations for them to turn on based on air quality readings in the room, but in the case of these Switchbot air purifiers you have to have them on all of the time in order for it’s own air quality monitors to be used in automations. As it’s supposed to be Matter compatible I would get around this by setting up automations in Apple’s Home app to turn the air purifier on when readings from external monitors indicate that the air quality is below a certain level, however, even though my Switchbot Hub 2 has been set up with Matter and added to Apple Home (and the air purifier is included as a child device) it doesn’t appear anywhere in the Apple Home app, so I’m stuck with using Switchbots own automations which means leaving the purifier on all of the time, unfortunately. Hopefully this will be resolved via a software update (I’m not sure if this is a Switchbot issue or a Matter issue).

So good we purchased a second one.Connected to the internet and available in Apple Home using Matter. It has stand alone options in the app t schedule working times which is great in the bedroom to have the room clear in the evening and turn off in the morning without having to worry about turning it on and off at given times.The fan is powerful and will help make a difference in the air quality in just a few minutes. Practically silent once the air quality is at a good level, This is ideal for a bedroom and as for me as an allergy sufferer it makes all the difference overnight and can sit next to a bed as a perfect sized bedside table with a light. Granted its a little awkward to use the light effectively as it can only be turned on and off via the Switchbot app but auto will turn it off when the room is dark if left in Auto modeThe added option to put this in Smart homes makes this a perfect choice and the one I have had for several months has no blinked once and remained reliable and effective.

This air purifier is a nice twist on the usual cylinder that sits in the corner and tries to make it more of a useful device that doesnt jus take up space by adding a table top, Qi charger and lighting.Its super easy to use with the switchbot app and the modes are clear and easy to understand. The added scent diffuser is a nice little addition as well allowing you to gently add scent to your area.Removal and adding of filters is super easy, just pull the back off and remove and add the filter back.The Qi charging works well and Ive not had any misses in alignment, and the rubber ring helps to stop your device getting easily knocked off / slipping off the table too.Lighting is OK and the auto on/off works well, seems to be based on ambient light, though I cant see a way to add my own colours, just selection from the pre-set list.Matter support is "ok" but I would really like it to expose more data than it does rather than limiting most functions to their app.The device though is solid, the app quite robust, and it functions pretty well overall.
