Numrich Front Sight Bead, Gold, .130" x 6-48 TPI

Needed a new one cause my original broke off. Works great for elevated base front sight. If you use it on the barrel without a base it would have to be cut down a little.

Installed on an old 1920's Model 12, required small amount of fitting but was not difficult. Happy with purchase.

Did not fit my hammerless double barrel Springfield Arms Company shotgun

Worked perfectly and was easy to fit.

This does not fit my Mossberg 500. Which I inquired about before purchase and was told it would fit. Should send it back, but its such a PITA. Guess I could use it as a sinker on my fishing pole. LATER EDIT-Correct thread size for a Mossberg 500 is usually a 5-40. 6-48 is Remington 870 Express and 1187 Sportsman models, also SKB and Ithaca. Eventually bought HI-VIZ sight with most adapters included, which works great. However I wanted the factory bead. AWWW poor me.

I chopped my single shot 12 down to 20 inches and could only find the fiber optic sights at scammer mountain . It did not look right and due to the square base would not stay true to the barrel . Bought this 6/48 and viola, my 12 looks like a true old school 12 gauge . Has a bigger profile than the original brass bead and is true.
