Works good enough. The light on the remote is bright enough to navigate around the house in the dark temporarily if the power goes out. My original remote works fine but I needed a more simple remote with a larger power button since the power button is the only one used on the TV which is being used as a PC monitor. This worked with a TCL Google TV using the code on the TCL list. The second cost worked for mine. I wish the IR emitter on the front wasn't sort of on the bottom edge and more in the middle. When placed on a fuzzy surface, like an arm rest, the IR light bulb pushes into the arm rest and gets blocked from signaling to the TV. Also, if you have a need to make the signal stronger from the remote, disable the backlight. It takes power from the IR signal.

Does not last. worked fine for 1 month then just stopped working.

I have a cheap TLC 65" with a remote control sucks and too sensitive... got this remote to replace it and none of the codes worked so I had to use the automatic find. It took many times but I think it Cycles the numbers and I learned to let it turn the TV off cycle through another 10 and it turn the TV on and then cycle again to turn the TV off. I then manually turn the TV on and use the volume button and it finally started working. All other attempts before would simply turn the TV off and only work for the channels but not the menu buttons. Basically had to go to three Cycles to pass some of the blocks of numbers that I originally thought would work but didn't. Overall is simply just does not continue to make progress. So keep trying to push on through until you find a batch of numbers that finally work. Keep in mind that many will only partially work. I almost decided to return the remote until I try the last third cycle because I had no clue where I was at

Really good remotes. They were very easy to set up. They are a great value for the money. I recommend then to anyone looking for a good, simple remote.

It gets a one because I can’t go any lower and it had pretty blue lights. Besides that, it learned the TV but not the box which for some is the only way they get TV. Must’ve tried 10 times to have it learn from the other remote, no go. UPDATE: seller very nice and reached out to see what type of cable box I had. It’s some weird brand that only the cable company has and just won’t work with it, but I really appreciated their efforts and for that I gotta bump up the rating.
