It's huge; it's very expensive, the camera is a bit pointless - I can access pictures of my cat squatting and the result (fine, if not very dignified) but honestly, once you have seen one litter-covered present you've seen them all. That all pales into insignificance compared to the main benefits - things like regular (and accurate) weighing, and automatic scooping, bagging and sealing. My young kitten adapted to it within a day. It integrates well with Home Assistant too.

Had a litter robot 3, this is different gravy ! You won’t know you own a cat ! Works well, no odours, cleaning and auto bagging is amazing! Consumables are a bit pricey - however the refill rings last 3 months (1 bag a week for 1 cat) , just swopped to the latest Petkit litter - you will use up to one bag a week, certainly one every 2 weeks - i tried other litter, but the Petkit is the best by far. Got 6 bags for £57 on amazon , so between £250 -500 on litter. Things to improve for v2 - better alert for full litter bag - flashing red light on machine may be, bigger notification on app - you have to check the app . Getting the litter in - its quite tight to open bag into the machine. However minor issues really, best auto cat litter robot by far.

Although it is expensive it works for me. My kitten wouldn't use the ordinary litter tray when my other cat used it and this litter tray is wonderful, as it cleans itself after every use. So no more accidents on the kitchen floor.

Amazing

I purchased the ultra via the indiegogo campaign and have had it for 2 weeks now. It is very large and looks very futuristic and was really easy to set up. My kitten loves the cat tunnel you can make out of the packaging. I have a few other PETKIT products so already had the app and it was easy to pair the device with my account and get started. My cat used it instantly and I love being able to check on him via the camera. Initially I had set it up on carpet, so it wasn’t able to detect weight changes, but I have since put it on a hard surface and it works fine. There are settings to stop it auto cleaning if your pet just checks on it, which my mine often does. Initially he got excited and confused by the cleaning process, but has got more used to it. There’s virtually no smell from the used litter due to the way the bag is sealed between uses. To get a full view of the historic video recordings, you need to subscribe to a premium service which I don’t see value in. Autobagging is great, very easy to initiate and very quick. My only slight disappointment is that there was a claim the bag can hold 20 days of waste. I’ve had it for just under 14 days and have had to empty the waste twice already. My cat is 100% indoor though and does pee quite a lot. Overall it’s a game changer for me, knowing that I’m never leaving him with a dirty tray and being able to check in on him when I’m out. It’s great. Update: the claim that the waste bin lasts 20 days seems to be unfounded. I’ve been speaking with PETKIT support and my cat uses the device as normal, but I’ve never managed to get past 9 days with the waste bin. The capacity is still good, but marketing claims should be able to be supported.

I have supported the Petkit Purobot Ultra Indiegogo campaign and received it about a month ago! It's slightly on the bigger side (I've had the Petkit Pura X before), and my partner wasn't initially sure about it, but after using it for the last week, I am pleased with the results. The main reason I bought it was the sealing refuse bag to ensure there is no smell in the flat, and so far this is working wonderfully! It does exactly what I expected it to. My cat wasn't sure about it initially, but with some help she's gotten used to it within a day. The large volume bags will be great as well, I still haven't had to replace it. I'll see how it goes once we have to do this. The rear container has a LOT of empty space. I realised I can keep a bag of litter there for convenience. I'm not sure if it was designed for that or not, would be interesting to know. Edit: don't use the rear space for storage - the free space there is needed during bag packing! It was very easy to set up on arrival, the app is great too to manage, monitor the toilet, as well as for remote checking in! The camera on the device will take a picture of every time it interacts with your pet. It will also take pictures of the refuse, before disposing of it, which will be helpful in monitoring her health! If you subscribe to the Petkit Care+ subscription, you can also watch video snapshots of every interaction as well! Overall I'm very happy with the Petkit Purobot Ultra. This is my 5th device from Petkit, and I don't regret my purchases.

I love this product which is much improved on the previous model. No odours and a self bagging litter disposal system, genius. Easy to set up and use. The camera helps me know which of my 3 cats is using it. The app lets me know when things need doing. Obviously this is a considered purchase but buy it you won’t regret it.
