I have used these earbuds for 5 months now and I haven’t had any problems with them. The sound quality is brilliant and I bought them to replace an old pair of AirPods Pro. The sound quality is great and you can adjust your audio tastes if you download the app. The noise cancelling is good for the price and it effectively blocks out my heaving stomping and motor/belt of my treadmill whilst I’m running. People report hearing me clearly and accurately when I use the ear buds for meetings and video calls. The colour is beautiful and I enjoy the mini cube shaped charging case. The earbuds can produce very loud sound, the battery life is great and I’ve never run out of battery (I use between 4-6 hours and day). They’re very easy to pair and use. The winged tip fits perfectly in my ears and they haven’t fallen out during running, weight lifting or tennis! It’s clear to say they’re extremely secure once in properly. I would buy these again over AirPods any day. Sony have always made quality products at decent prices.

Please check out my edit at the bottom of this review!These just arrived today, so after I set up the basics, the first thing I did was take them down the gym for a workout!Not bad at all.I have a small ear canal, and therefore the extra small tips are great - and while I am aware of them in my ear, they don't feel too tight and the wingtip doesn't rub - they are actually really soft, so I suspect long term use will warrant a replacement.They are a bit tricky to position at first, but I expect to get used to that in time - they didn't fall out during any of my cardio or weight training efforts.The fit in my left ear felt slightly better than my right, but that's clearly more to do with my biology than anything Sony got wrong.The ANC is more than acceptable, although not as good as that on my larger over-the-ear headphones. The overall sound quality is superb.In a quietish room they'll be great, but in a gym, the ANC won't completely drown out their music until you put your own sounds on.Remembering the tapping sequence is a bit tricky - I keep turning off the ANC - again, this will take some getting used it.The new app is a bit confusing and I'm still not completely clear on all the operational functions, however I guess that's just a learning curve for me.After many years of looking for the perfect sports earbud, I think this is the best so far.EDIT: After a little bit of use, I've noticed that the connection occasionally drops - mainly when I'm in the gym. When this happens, I need to either reconnect via the app or put them back into the charging case.This might be a glitch that can be sorted out with an update, but if it persists, I will be contacting Sony.

When I got these I was pleased that they didn't hurt. As a side sleeper earbuds have a habit of hurting.I put them in on night one, laid on my side, couldn't hear my warthog snoring hubby I was elated. That was until 3½ hours later when they went off. I was confused, so went on to the app only to find out they had no battery. I thought I hadn't charged them properly.Night 2 snuggled down on my side no nipping, no ear pressure, no snoring heard, fantastic, how perfect. Until 3½ hours later they went off.I checked on amazon only to discover they advertise 4 hours battery! What the heck, why on earth do Sony advertise these as perfect for side sleepers yet they last 3 TV programmes/1 film until they need charging again.Come on seriously sony get it together, how do you justify the price for such a tiny battery. 3½ hours wouldn't even see me through a conversation on the phone with my daughter.I'm so so disappointedUp until the dead battery saga I was so happy with the from every angle. So made me very very sad

Not the best for noise cancellation.if you want high quality noise cancellation this is not for you. However they work very well, the sound is really good, I love it. The sound cancellation is just helpful if you have sensitive ears in general. Connectivity is good however, with my phone calls I have to manually click on connect via link puds with my iPhone. But it connects to my Mac automatically just fine and to my phone as well whenever I plug them to my ears. They fit in the ear just fine, they just need to be put accurately. Battery is awesome! Value for money it is a little overpriced. 90£ seem fairer for them. I love the white one it’s quite an elegant looking. It comes with a few tiny silicon thingies for ear sizes. And the super short charger.

Only used a few times so far, but the sound is amazing, easy set up, pretty quick to charge, and the battery seems to last a long time as haven't had to recharge yet.Also I don't get the annoying foot steps sound in my ear that I got with my old ones, so these are definitely worth every penny.

The hand gesture controls only worked some of the time and the noise cancellation wouldn't remain off when I turned them off. I wear them for calls and listening to the radio.The noise cancellation I'd constantly changing and it makes you feel like your ears are popping.Unfortunately, they're being returned.Very comfortable and the sound quality is great, but they're not for me

The xm5's my have a slightly better sound and anc although not by much, however the linkbuds fit are so much more comfortable, the majority of buyers will not be disappointed
