I can’t say enough good things about this backpack. It holds SO much. Lots of pockets to keep things separate, the fabric is thick and sturdy and it’s well made. No ripped seams and doesn’t seem like it will come apart anytime soon. Excellent buy despite being pricey. The wheels are the best part. Smooth rolling and sturdy, retractable handle. I have a bad back and this thing is a lifesaver lugging my gear back and forth to work daily. Would, and WILL, definitely buy again if needed. No shoulder straps. Nice styling, zippers are great. Note- Stands upright very well even when full, which was a must for me. People at work joke with me that I just got in from a flight, but honestly I love this so much I don’t even care.

I pondered for what felt like 100 years before deciding on this bag. There are so many to choose from, but boy am I glad I made this choice. I am a commuter into and out of downtown Los Angeles, by means of trains, subways and buses., So I know that I am pretty hard on commuter bags. I seem to have to replace them at least twice a year because the wheels run down and they just get really shabby really quick. Enter this particular bag for which this review is intended, if I could give it 20 stars I would. It is sturdy. It absolutely feels solid and the wheels roll along like a dream. It is actually effortless to take them up a tremendously tall flight of stairs to the train platform and my little buddy handles it like a charm it is truly effortless. The handle is solid as well, it doesn’t wiggle it stays up at the different levels and I don’t know I’m just really happy. I think I’ll get a lot of use from this one before having to replace it and when a replacement is necessary I’m going to get the exact same thing. I haven’t used the lock or anything, but that is a nice added touch. Also, it’s quite roomy inside. I can fit my lunch bag, Hydro flask sweater, laptop, and a decent size case for my Bose headphones, my small French press and STILL have room for more things. The bottom line is if you are on the fence and reading a million reviews about a gazillion different bags just choose this one. I would buy it again in a heartbeat and I intend to when the time comes…

I am very happy with this rolling backpack. I was able to fit all my electronics and a 17" laptop. Lots of places to store things and can be plugged in to charge. Wheels are large to get over taller thresholds and quality of materials is very good.

Gave it a 4 star because I loved everything about it however needed it to fit 1-2 more books and a Chromebook or tablet and there wasn't enough room. My daughter is in 3rd grade with most being books and paper. Also with the amount of books in it I couldn't put the handle inside and be able to get it back out. Wish these weren't so expensive though. Seemed to be great quality. Would be nice to have more color options.

I’m so glad I made this purchased. Before I carried a backpack, a large tote and a computer bag- all that I needed for a work day. This is so much more than a backpack! It holds my lunch box, large water tumbler, my work computer, my wallet and keys even my spare change of shoes. The large back wheels makes it easy to maneuver, I got caught in a rain storm and my computer and other items stayed dry, phew! So many pockets of different sizes and the lock is a must. The handle is reinforced which helps with lifting a heavy bag. Well worth the money.

this is my second rolling backpack from Matein. I travel for a living, so this is my mobile office.Pros, Love the wheels, lot of storage. Made well. Lightweight,cons. I really prefer a bi-parting zipper on all storage areas. Much easier to access all of the areas again, I travel for a living. 2nd big compartment should be double zipper for sure. Again, it would be nice of all of these compartments were departing. The smallest compartment is aa zipper. This I can live with because it is fairly common for the smallest compartment. As long as everything doesn't dump out of the compartment, this is acceptable.Now the second smallest compartment, which is also in the very front. On my old bag, this was a bi-parting zipper. worked great. Now this compartment is about the same size, but they use a flap cover with two clips. Which it seems to be secure enough that's not my complaint. My complaint is that it is hard to get in and out of this storage area/pocket. This forces you to use this compartment for things that you don't need on a regular basis.One more con there is no side pockets on this backpack. Nowhere to put say a water bottle or perhaps some gum. Most backpacks have some sort of water bottle area. I wish it came in different colors
