Quality fit it came nicely packaged in box with no damage at all, it comes with the zip tie to keep cable in place. Comes with screws only with it included a back box as well.

This ethernet wall socket is easy to install, especially if you have a punch down tool handy. The cable can be secure once wired thanks to a slot and supplied zip tie. There's a little window on the front of the keystone to let you write and assign an outlet number which is handy for multiple outlet office environments. My only reason for not leaving a 5 star was due to the very square edges - I'd have preferred a more rounded edge to match other sockets in my house.

The bundle was supplied as two separate packages, the wall plate and the keystone module.Everything fits together nicely and punched down correctly the first time, which is always nice!

This Ethernet wall socket consists of two parts. There is the wall plate which has a plain plastic face with a rectangular cut out and then there is the Ethernet socket which is a modular design. This is placed in the cut out and then clicks into place. It would seem to be an economical way to produce electrical components. However, I am curious about the use of the phrase "Multi-Purpose" when the vendor describes this socket. Surely its sole purpose is to connect an Ethernet cable?Cable connection at the rear is by IDC and there is a loop in the plastic to secure the cable using a tie wrap. My only observation about this socket is that it is quite expensive for a single outlet. Had there been two I would have been more generous with my stars, but as it is I don't think it is the best value you can get for your money.

So 95% of the product is the 'keystone' connector and that is solid, well made and fitted a few trial cable ends nice and snugly. Connections are provided for the 4 twisted pairs that make up the centre of a CAT 5/6 cable with printed colour code info for for 568B terminationThe wall plate I received was also well made and has a nice finish to it, but it is unmistakably a brush plate intended for running un broken cables in/out of a wall cavity. I couldn't see a way to fit the keystone into it and am leaning towards this being wrongly packed with the Keystone. If so, hopefully a 1-offAnyway both both products are good quality - just not exactly what I expected

An adequate one, that does the job can be purchased from Amazon for less than £3.This is another good way of connecting ethernet cables, instead of crimping or the bulky screw connectors.The wall plate is supplied with two 20 mm long screws and will fit any 25 mm backbox, although I prefer the 32 mm version which allows for better cable manipulation.It also comes with a reusable identification label with cover.A well-made Ethernet Wall Socket that, if fitted correctly, will look professional and work without fault.

Good quality set of parts, the plate is pretty thick plastic and rigid with a good finish.The connection insert is of matching quality with clear cable idents, the tangs holding it in the plate are quite small though.I am going back to cabled ethernet in places as the radio spectrum both WIFI bands operate on is becoming increasingly congested yet most devices are pretty poor at relocating to quieter channels. So decent wall sockets are welcome, I am replacing antenna sockets in places and using the old coax to pull the network cables, ethernet is more useful than a terrestrial antenna point these days!Price isn't really bad, but they are cheaper from the usual tool sheds and there isn't anything special about this one that to demand a premium. 4 Stars.
