Clean, Pure Vegan Protein โ Great Quality, But Unflavored Means Get Creative!
Iโve been looking for a truly clean vegan protein powder with no additives, & no Cholesterol---No artificial sweeteners, or fillers, and Naked Rice delivers exactly that. Itโs literally just one ingredient: organic sprouted brown rice protein. No cholesterol, no sugars (natural or artificial), no junkโjust pure plant-based protein. Thatโs a huge win for me, especially compared to so many flavored proteins loaded with extras. The texture is surprisingly smooth for a rice protein. It mixes really well in a shaker bottle or blenderโno gritty clumps like some other plant proteins Iโve tried. I get a nice, creamy consistency when I blend it with almond milk. On the downside, itโs completely unflavored, so on its own it tastes pretty neutral (think very mild rice). There are no other flavor options available, which means youโll definitely want to mix it with fruits, berries, banana, cocoa powder, or whatever you like to make it enjoyable. Iโve been throwing it into smoothies with frozen berries and a splash of vanilla extract, and it works great that way. Overall, if you prioritize purity and donโt mind adding your own flavors, this is an excellent choice for vegan protein supplementation. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a minimalist, high-quality option!

My stomach canโt take A LOT of foods so I was on a hunt for a staple in my diet, which I found. BUT itโs so pricey (not this rice protein) especially for my household, with my diet being separate from my spouses. So I was looking for a fluffer to make my meal replacement shake last longer but still keep its flavor and this does that PERFECTLY. Would really recommend others who deal with sensitive stomachs to try this out because this has been a life changer for me. I use 1 scoop of my other meal replacement and one scoop of the NAKED rice protein then add 1 block of ice and 8 oz of water, blend, done. I read some reviews about the powder settling on the bottom but Iโve had 0 problems with that this way, I might even add another scoop of NAKED rice protein because Iโve been dropping weight fast. Personally I love the protein quality thereโs no crazy after taste or grit to it. Iโve waited to try a couple times and see how it settles in my body and itโs very easy on the stomach with 0 inflammatory effects. Dissolves easily. And aids in appetite suppressing, which before I found my other shake and this addition I was having the WORST cravings and just always hungry and this combo has completely ended that for me. I LOVE the packaging, the other one that is actually my biggest con of there packaging is terrible but this one is very convenient. Thank you so much for creating such a great product and hope more fodmap people are able to find this gem โค๏ธ hoping to purchase the bigger size when I come into more money thank you ๐ *PS it usually fills up this cup entirely or I have alittle extra when I make it with my recipe above - I had just already drank it down :pp also the other shake creates a frothy top almost like whipped top :)) but that is from my meal replacement not this protein additive โค๏ธ

Too good to be true? That certainly might be the case.
So I don't really review things on amazon, but I feel that this product merits some time in writing in actual review apart from what others have written. To begin with, this is without a doubt a great tasting protein; i'm quite surprised for the fact that as a plain plant based protein, it does not taste like crap. Financially speaking, this is a cheap product when one accounts for the cost/lb and the amount of protein that you get per serving along with it being an "organic" product, and when you spread that across many other kinds of protein strands available on Amazon you'll see that this is a good deal to be had especially when one sees that the market is more or less homogeneous for protein in general. I went ahead and bought this product from Naked along with their chocpb and casein which I felt were a great deal and I was pretty hyped to get my hands on this based on all the stellar reviews that were here on amazon. Shortly after, I out of my own curiosity went ahead and did a bit of research on plant based protein and was somewhat alarmed by some reviews and some sources stating that contaminates that could possibly be prevalent in plant based proteins just like this one. Though then again, there isn't much research out their to warrant this being the case (along with everyone's opinion on the matter which is quite open-ended), however what really caught my attention was in which this product is being marketed as an organic product. The reason that this alarmed me is because when I went on the USDA's organic integrity database, I tried to search up this company where their name didn't pop up anywhere in their database. I then went to CCOF's website (the agency Naked claims to have been certified organic from) and searched their registry for this company and nothing popped up. It is at this point in which I was dumbfounded as to how something like this could have happened. I then emailed Naked and asked them who they were doing business as to verify that this product truly is organic in which they told me that they are labeling their product as organic based upon their co-packer, meaning that this product (from whoever the third party manufacture is) supposedly has registration with CCOF as being certified organic. Private labeling isn't a problem, and heck, if that means that I can get protein much cheaper i'm all for it. The only problem is that Naked told me that they don't provide the name of who their supposed co-packer might be which to me sounds highly suspicious and concerns my own well-being as to if I should be taking this in the first place. I mean I can understand if you as a company don't want to provide the name of your third party manufacture so that your competition finds out in regards to your strategy (which is pretty reasonable when one looks at how fragmented the market is), but not being transparent to that point gives benefit of the doubt to many things they are claiming. Surely it was my own sheer ignorance that I did not do my due diligence before buying their products, but I think that those who are going to go ahead and purchase their products ought to think twice: They label their product as organic when their name doesn't pop-up in any data base (in which they claim that their product being organic is a fraudulent claim in itself), they state that their product is "HEAVY METALS AND MELAMINE TESTED: Our Naked Organic Sprouted Brown Rice Protein is independently tested by third-parties for heavy metals and is melamine free" (which is pretty much contradictory since they are privately labeling a product that clearly isn't manufactured by them, so what claim back's this up?), lastly, on their 5lb product they use seals to label that this product is organic but why not on their 1/lb product? I had a lot of hopes for this company and this product as the exact value proposition of what this product claims to be when its not what it is. "Naked Rice: Premium Organic Brown Rice With Nothing To Hide" ought to be more like "Naked Rice: Premium Organic Brown Rice With Many Things To Hide" Caveat Emptor......

Good Substitute for whey protein, if you are okay with no flavor.
Tried this vegan protein, as I have digestive issue with whey protein. I feel better with this vegan protein, but taste is not super good. It's unflavored, but if you mix it with watery drinks you can feel it. Thus I like to mix it in thick smoothies with strong flavors, so that I cannot really tell that protein powder has been added in there.

Itโs a great product and it goes down really well. I have trouble with anything egg or dairy and even some plant proteins (food sensitivities and IBS) but this sits really well. I found that Carnivore beef protein sat really heavy but this was light and easy to drink. It blends really well but basically just tastes like sidewalk chalk. Just mix it with whatever as itโs practically tasteless. My only qualm is that these vegan protein products are WAY overpriced and I feel itโs taking financial advantage of people with dietary restrictions and medical conditions. An unfortunate side effect of a capitalistic culture. But other than than, I highly recommend it.

Great product, container is way to big, it's barely half full. Really wasting a lot of plastic.

Love it mix it with garden life vegan protein isolate, 1 scoop of each is a great balance blends very well together. On its own little bit grainy but considering it a pure isolate protein its a win. Garden life uses stevia extract its very strong, why they just didn't use brown sugar is a questionable insight considering they promote sience based laboratory processes... Brown sugar is much healthier then stevia, it has minerals and vitamins including magnesium and calcium !
