The item is just as I expected it to be.

We do a lot of cooking so I was looking forward to trying this 7 oz. packet of ZA'ATAR Mediterranean Spice seasoning blend. I think that thyme is the predominant flavor but you can still taste the other spices. We have used it in homemade soups and sauces and mixed it with olive oil for bread dipping. Very tasty! The cost increased $5 from the time of ordering and writing this review so I am disappointed in the price hike. Still, I think the cost seems to be a fair value at a little over $2 per oz. at the time of writing this review.

This tastes primarily like thyme, missing the tang and complexity of true zaatar.
