These are the best earbuds I have ever used for work! They do not advertise these as hearing protection, but with the memory foam eartips installed, in my ears they reduce noises dramatically, just like foam earplugs. Better yet I don't have to roll the tips down before inserting into my ear like typical foam ear plugs. All I have to do is pull my ear lobe up a bit, and put the foam tip in my ear as far as it goes and they are in my ear within seconds. The eartips are just likely the perfect size for my ears but they definitely work as good as ear plugs for me. The sound quality is also really good! Music is clear, and has decent bass. The build quality is very impressive as well, definitely made to last. Buttons are easily labeled, and big. They dont feel very "clicky" like smartphone buttons but I can tell they are made to last and work great. I love the magnetic earbud backs so that they dont swing around when I remove them from my ears. The speaker mode is also very useful and uncommon. Well done with these earbuds, I plan to buy more for my company!!

I ordered this in a haste and didn't even notice it had an external speaker option. When I realized that, I was quite skeptical. Why would I want to walk around with little speakers on my neck playing sound when I could use earbuds?Turns out, for lots of reasons. When I'm around the house I have it on speaker all day, listening to podcasts and also able to hear what I'm doing. It's also nice taking calls this way while hanging laundry. The speakers won't ever match the quality of the earbuds for music, but they're great for everything else.Background noise cancellation for those on the other side of my calls seems decent, but not amazing. I'm able to carefully do the dishes while chatting with family.Battery life is solid, but it will wear down in a few days of heavy use if you have it on speaker. Seems reasonable.Four and a half stars because there's an obnoxious loud announcement every time you switch between "speaker mode!" and "earphones mode!". A quick 'ding' would be much preferable.

I have been using these for a couple of weeks and have gotten acquainted with them. Everybody kept raving about how having a speaker is a game changer and it really is. I can still work and take calls without touching my phone but you can do that with any bluetooth set however being able to work hands free and still be listening to your surroundings and aware is a different story. This bluetooth set allows me the luxury of being able to work without putting myself in harms way inadvertently. They were easy to connect, sound great and I really can't complain. They also come with several ear fitting plug sizes so you can ensure you have the right fit so you get the most bang for your buck . I have to have one size on my left ear vs my right ear. I like the sleek black look as well. Getting another set for my wife as now she wants some...

I've used the older model for a while and have had coworkers with the same one. The older model is lighter weight but it's also not as tough, I've seen a lot of them broken or pulled apart when the earbuds got caught on something.The wires on this one are shorter so they have less of a chance of getting tangled. They also have a magnet that clips the buds together. BUT I'm currently on a steel mill jobsite and there's metal dust everywhere, so anything magnetic will collect this black dust on it which has been annoying. Keep this in mind if you work in similar environments, if I leave them out of my ears they collect this dust on the back of them just from dangling on my shirt. This is the biggest problem I have with them but it's a personal problem not a design problem.This one is slightly heavier but feels like better construction. I don't notice having them on sometimes despite them being bigger than the old model.I really like the speaker mode, I have poor hearing and work in a loud environment so being able to put the earbuds in, but have music externally makes it easier to protect my hearing and also hear people talking better. Being able to quickly pluck them out of my ears without worrying about dropping them is really convenient compared to the wireless earbuds.I'm actually really impressed with the bluetooth connection, I've had a lot of bluetooth speakers/earbuds and typically you can't walk more than maybe 30ft or walk behind walls before they start cutting out. But I've repeatedly left my phone in one room, walked at least 100ft away behind concrete walls and didn't even notice because the music sounded the same!I don't use them for calls but the few times I have, having the external speaker is the same as putting someone on speaker phone hands free which is nice. If you need to work with someone from a distance (like pulling cable) these help a lot.The sound quality is good, not audiophile good but they get the job done and don't sound any worse than more expensive earbuds I've tried. I don't use the sound mode very often or notice much of a difference, I keep it on "super bass"The battery life is good so far, I've only had them a week so I can't be certain how long the battery stay healthy but as of right now I don't have to charge them everyday which is a win in my book. They charge fast and use USB C, the flap covering the port is very tough and won't break or flap around loose.Unless I find a big flaw in the future I think these will be my preferred earbuds in any setting and if they break, I wouldn't hesitate to buy a new pair.And best of all, actual BUTTONS! I hate having to mess with touch controls on these compact earbuds, I have status ANC earbuds (more expensive than these and very overrated) and they really don't hold a charge well, and the controls are AWFUL that I usually have to resort to pulling my phone out to skip songs. You don't have to worry about digging out your phone at work anymore with theseEDIT:I've actually gotten an ear infection since using these because of the magnets collecting metal dust. so again be cautious if you work in a similar environment because you don't want any particles that collect on your magnetic earbuds to get inside your ears. If it weren't for the magnets I'd give 5 stars, because other than getting an ear infection they're still really good earbuds

I bought this because I do a lot of camping and backpacking and wanted earbuds that I could use for a week without recharging and would stand up to some dirt and moisture. These are by far the best earbuds I've ever owned! I've taken them on two camping trips so far, and they made it through a full day of hiking in the rain without an issue. They regularly last a week, sometimes two, between charges. The external speaker is great for listening to music while biking, and they're louder than my phone speaker for listening to podcasts or music while I'm driving (old car, can't get the phone to route sound through the car speakers). I'd definitely recommend them!
