Does not seem to repel pests.

The mice situation worsened in the house. My friend suggested this device as she saw very positive results. I will wait and see. For the growing mouse population in the house I had to hire a pest control company to set traps.

I got it to see if I can repel some squirrels from some crawl space they got into the house. At first it did prevent them from being in the area but I think they got used to it and decided to venture back. Also read the instructions because it says it doesn't penetrate walls which is a downside to it. I am going to try if I can get the spray repellent and see if that combo works.

Squirrels left attic same day I placed it. We had squirrels running around our attic, I couldn't find how they were getting in. Found this unit when searching Amazon. Found a central spot in the attic near where we heard them. Once it was turned on, and it's still on, we've not heard them running around again. I do have hearing aids and when I'm near the unit I can hear it, and it's annoying, if I remove my hearing aids, I don't hear it.
