Dear how many pieces in the carton and what is the expiry date

Pieces in a carton? Don't have one here to count, but I'd guesstimate ~ 40-50. Rowntree's (even after being bought out by Nestle') are the best (although New Zealand's Pascall JuJu Wine Gums are a close second!). But they need to be FRESH! The supplier is important; and having them come from the UK is usually better than from a distributor who warehouses them in the U S (it's worth the extra shipping...and sometimes you can get a sales price from the UK; it's worth looking around...beware of bargain pricing, which usually -- but not always -- means they're old & rock hard). these are best sweets ever

nothing beats rowntrees fruit gums. I thought they were a little expensive but great. great stocking stuffers. when we go to England we stock up.

Disappointed.

After years of missing one of my favorite "sweets" from my childhood, I was excited to find I could order Fruit Gums on Amazon. My excitement quickly disappeared, however, when I ate the first one. It had a crusty outer layer that said they were stale. The entire package was that way, and I was left very disappointed.

Incredibly downsized

If you've ever enjoyed these fruity candies in the past, be prepared for a major change in the size. They are too small to truly appreciate the flavor.

A Standard Candy (Sweety) in the U.K.

Most everyone in Britain knows this candy. I myself grew up eating 'em. The only warning would be that they are highly addictive. They are quite hard, requiring some chewing and do have a habit of sticking to your teeth.Otherwise; I'd highly recommend them!
