My wife bought this for the spare bedroom for storage and it is a nice looking and sturdy piece of furniture.When you open the box, you find a lot of parts. It looks like it will take 2 or more hours to assemble.They pack extra hardware so you should have all parts.You need to supply your own Philips screwdriver. Use a real screwdriver with a comfortable handle. I wouldn't use a cordless drill because the pressboard is very soft and you can strip out the wood easily if you over tighten. Just hand tighten until you start to feel resistance then stop.Follow the instructions closely. Use the parts list and match the parts numbers to the plastic bags. Most of the hardware is common sense, but it doesn't hurt to make sure. Thumbs up to the person who wrote the instructions.Most of the parts fit perfectly and is easy to put together.The only tricky part are the door hinges. First, there are four screw holes on each hinge that attach to the cabinet, but there are only two holes in the cabinet for each hinge. You need to add a third screw on the side of the top hole (the second top hole on the hinge). You can just muscle in the screw into the cabinet or you can use the awl on your swiss army knife and start a small dimple to make things easier. That third screw does the trick. You can also add the fourth screw to make it more secure.The other tricky part about hinge are the two adjustment screws. You need to loosen them enough so you can adjust the door so that the door closes upright and straight, and then you want to tighten the adjustment screws so that they stay upright the straight. That's why some reviewers say that the doors close on themselves. It's because the adjustment screws are too loose so the doors droop towards each other and they close on each other.One of the doors scrape on the cabinet when closing the chemical smell is pretty strong. Wipe the inside and let it air out if it bothers you. These are minor problems in my opinion.It took me about 90 minutes to assemble.

I have an odd kitchen that has a larger footprint, but not a lot of counter space. It's a rental, so I can't do much about that. But this island is the perfect fix. Went together easy enough--however we did notice when putting it together that it came with some incorrect hardware and we had to make due. The last step was confusing, so we ignored it.NOTE: I also listened to one review that mentioned wood glue, and used it along the back paneling and along the seams of the island, and it made a HUGE difference in it's stability. Highly recommend that.

This island was easy to put together, it looks good and it's sturdy. The wheels roll smooth and the counter top it's smooth and screams quality.

Cabinet doors open and close great, just wish the rest was average, not very sturdy, doors don’t line up neatly. Drawer seems weak.. it’ll do for now at least it was under $100.

It was easy to put together. However when it came time to attach the hinges to the doors and cabinet I needed help and power screwdriver because a regular phillps screwdriver would not drive the screws in. It is absolutely a beautiful addition to my kitchen. I was surprised how spacious it actually was and very impressed.I even ordered a second one that’s how nice I thought it was.

We recently purchased this kitchen island, and while it's not terrible for the price, it left us a bit underwhelmed. Assembly was straightforward, and it looks nice in our kitchen, but we were hoping for a bit more in terms of sturdiness. It serves its purpose for extra counter space and storage, but the materials feel somewhat lightweight. If you're looking for something functional on a budget, it works—but don't expect it to feel as solid as a more premium option. Overall, a decent buy, but not quite as robust as we had hoped.

This cabinet is nice, and better quality than I expected. Not too hard to assemble, and works out nicely for our space.
