TAC 2AA EDC Tactical Dual Modes Flashlight, 1600 High Lumens Light

Besides using it on cars I have started to use it around the house and it's been great. The Acebeam TAC 2AA is a durable and compact tactical flashlight, ideal for everyday carry and professional use. It features a robust aluminum build, I have a dropped it from up to 6 feet a few times and it continues to work. It provides a balanced beam for all my needs, and offers multiple lighting modes controlled by an intuitive dual-switch interface. While it has a shorter runtime on high mode, the rechargeable feature and its capability to use 2 AA batteries while still providing high output is amazing. Definitely a valuable and must have EDC tool or automotive flashlight.

According to reviews, Acebeam is hit or miss. I gave this to my son on his 18th bday. Great price on a good, reliable, dual powered light.

I do Security at a college and I’ve been using the Ace Beam tac2aa for well over a year. It’s a very reliable flashlight on the full charge. It will ask me at least a good 3-4 days before having to recharge it. I was trying to figure out how to use the strobe on it. It took me a minute to figure it out but there’s a small button on the side that you clicked three times quickly and the activates that and three other mods as long as you hold it down. The brightness is exceptional out of this flashlight. It’s more than expected. However, if you have it in the pocket and you forget to turn it off, it will melt through your fabric. I have a couple of holes now in my pockets because of it, I would definitely buy this Flashlight again if needed to, but it’s very durable. And it’s done more than enough. Definitely recommend. Just be very careful not to leave it on or something that could be flammable for the money. it’s reasonable and comparison to other flashlights that are in the main stream market. And weight, you can barely even feel it in your pocket.

Good general purpose EDC flashlight. Bright enough for doing deliveries around a rural environment, especially for this price. The two modes are kind of odd, but once I set it to where it was needed there is no need to change it, and I only use the thumb button on this particular flashlight. The battery is unique in that the charging port is on the battery itself. So you have to remove the battery, and leave it out while its charged. This is inconvenient, but also makes the body of the light more enclosed and protected from the elements. On a full charge, with occasional to moderate use at least every other day in the summer, a full charge lasted me from April to the end of July. All and all, it was a good purchase.

Great flashlight! I purchased it a few months back and use it everyday for work. I’ve only had to charge it once. The battery last a long time and the light it bright.

Loving this flashlight. Good size, close to a Mini Maglite, but on the larger size for most people's pockets. I carry it to work as a carpenter and it works well in my utility pocket or tool bags. Its very bright, and although I don't use the various settings often it's nice to have them. The clip is sturdy and I love how it can be clipped in 2 different orientations. Makes it easy to clip on my hat or a nail in the wall. The rechargeable battery is good quality to far, and I like that I can toss in a couple AA batteries if I can't charge the one it came with. I will buy again to spread around or give as gifts. I was pleasantly surprised by the rubber shade covers it came with a well.

Bright, small and convenient… not sure when I put this review on, but it has gone dead in the middle of a power outage and the battery is huge and I’ve never seen one like it before. This is not rechargeable. I wouldn’t recommend buying it. I’ve changed my mind upon use..

Great carry light. Small enough you think it's a secondary light, but bright enough to be your main carry. Tail switch turns it on and the side button adjusts brightness. The light is a little flared at each end, so it's harder to just slip in a shirt pocket like you might a streamline stylus pro, or a olight I5r plus. It's also significantly brighter with a good mix of flood and throw. While this light is on the small side for my idea of an EDC light, it's powerful enough that I work it into my rotation periodically. Sometimes smaller is better, and with this light you get smaller without sacrificing much in the form of power. This is my second favorite Acebeam with the T35 being my absolute favorite.

Great flashlight at a reasonable price, promptly delivered too!

Excellent quality torch., it’s so bright! Got this as it was recommended as the best torch for reasonable money. It really is top notch. Ideal for home as an emergency torch and the red / clear covers would be great for use in a car or camping as they flood the room with light. The clip looks strong and I’ll test that over the coming weeks out and about. I’ll leave more feedback. The charge function is another reason I bought it as I’ll use it often and didn’t want to be buying batteries every few weeks.
