Great value!
I’ve been trying this out, and it’s been a game changer for my routine. this product works as a cleanser, toner, and makeup remover, so it saves me time. The vitamin C in it leaves my skin feeling brighter and refreshed, while the hydrating ingredients like aloe keep it soft without feeling stripped. It’s become my go to for a quick, effective skincare fix.

Gentle cleanser
I like this cleanser because it is gentle on my sensitive skin, but it does a thorough job cleaning my face. It has the added benefit of vitamin C. The scent is very light and the consistency is smooth and transparent. It's easy to use and feels high quality. The ingredients are listed only on the box, not the tube, so keep the box if you like to reference the ingredient list.

Good performance, but alcohol and scent raise questions.
This product is interesting for a couple of reasons. It glides on well, provides adequate lather, and washes off without leaving a film, contrary to what others have mentioned. I’ve been fortunate enough to try a variety of face washes over the years, ranging from budget-friendly to premium. For its price, I’d rank its performance as middle-tier.So, why is it interesting? From the moment I opened it and dispensed some into my hands, I noticed an intense chemical smell. While it doesn’t linger after use, the initial scent is quite pungent. After reviewing the ingredients, I believe the smell is due to the denatured alcohol, which is known to be drying. This is one of the reasons I deducted a star.Edit (Update 01/28/25): The strong pungent alcohol smell has dissipated. I'm unsure of whether or not this is due to exposing the product to air when opening or because I received a batch fresh off the line. Either way, it does dissipate with time and have a much more pleasant smell.Another point of confusion is why this product refers to itself as a toner. Typically, toners are applied after cleansing and before moisturizing—not washed off. Perhaps the branding as a "toner" makes it seem like an all-in-one product, adding perceived value.Vitamin C is another element worth discussing. It’s a tricky ingredient to work with because it breaks down quickly. The product I used appeared mostly clear with a faint tint, but I’d recommend keeping an eye out for any significant color changes, which usually signal that the vitamin C has degraded. Many skincare brands invest heavily in stabilizing vitamin C, which explains why products with this ingredient are often more expensive. The inclusion of Kakadu plum, a potential source of stabilized vitamin C, is a thoughtful touch, as it may be more effective than traditional sources like oranges.Overall, this product offers a lot for a reasonable price. However, I deducted a star for the smell and the inclusion of alcohol. That said, it’s a solid option, especially if you can get the larger size, which—at the time of writing this review—is priced similarly to the travel size but provides significantly more product.

Great gentle exfoliator and facial cleanser, but too small a package
I really liked this product. It provided a really gentle exfoliation and was really great for cleaning my face. It removed makeup and other detritus with ease and didn't feel overly chemically, cause blotching, or any other side effects that I often get (I have sensitive skin). My only real gripe is that the product is under 2.5 ounces, which is a tiny amount of cleanser that I will run out of very quickly. Unfortunately for me, the value just isn't there, which is too bad. It's a great product.

Cruelty-Free
It was very hard to rate this as I have mixed emotions. When one thinks of toner they often think of clear, thin, watery-like liquid. This isn't that. It takes a few moments for the brain to adjust to the thought that it's going to work as a toner but yet be thick and tacky. The toner comes in a squeeze bottle. There is an inner seal for health and safety protection, which I like. The product appears to be a yellowish gel. When applied, it goes on quite sticky and thick. After smoothing on, adding water to rinse causes it to semi-lather. This is good as it helps it rinse off well.It does have an unpleasant scent. This is just the natural way the product smells. While I'm not a huge fan of the scent, I'm also glad that it isn't fragranced. This is one reason for the mixed emotions on how to rate it. It's hard to not like a scent but then be happy it isn't fragranced.Being that it is a Vitamin C product, the coloring of it is important. The more a Vitamin C product oxidizes, the more yellow it becomes - from clear to light yellow to dark yellow to orange and then orange/brown. As it darkens it becomes less effective. This one was a light yellow which means it is still effective and should last for awhile. To make it last longer, one could keep it in the refrigerator. I was pleased that it wasn't a darker yellow.I plan, in the future, to use this on a partially wet face and smooth with wet fingers. It should help it go on more smoothly. Also, it takes very little, less than a pea-size, to cover the face. I'd start with a tiny bit then add a little more as needed. Because of this it should make this product last longer. After rinsing, my face felt smooth and clean. I had no adverse/negative reactions to the product during or after use.Overall, it is a good toner. It just smells naturally not super pleasant - not horrible but not great. It is cruelty-free and paraben-free, which are huge pluses for me.
