I plugged the unit outside our front door. We have decorative lights around the door and insects tend to gather there. Mosquitoes are most predominant. Even small lizards are attracted by the light and the insects. I noticed a definite decline in activity in that area when the unit was in place and turned on. I was delighted that such a simple solution worked well. But It stopped working after 4-5 months. It would not turn on as evidenced by the light failing to work. When I reported the issue, the good folks refunded the money. I intend to buy another unit next spring.

I purchased two of these in September and they only lasted 4 months. Even though they did work great and kept rats away from my small patio area, 4 months is not long enough to purchase again. When they died, the rats were back immediately.

I made a purchase of a total of 9 of these in 2 separate orders. You only have a 30 day return window. 4 of them stopped working (no green light) after 4 months. Company did refund me for 3 units and asked if I would give them another chance. Unfortunately another 2 units stop working today January 12, 2026 no green light. The company needs to let you know that these units only work for 6 months. If you look up product support you will see it only lasts for 6 months and their return window is only 30 days. I would not recommend buying this product. It doesn't work for very long.

Update 07Jan2025: I am changing my review from one star to three stars and I’d like to note that I wasn’t asked nor instructed to do so. I feel it is the right thing to do as the very next day after posting my original review, to my surprise, the company reached out to me and offered me a full refund. I truly appreciate them doing so although I do feel disappointment that they only decided to do the right thing after I posted negative commentary. Regardless, in the end, they did step up and that does deserve recognition. I wish I had faith in the product to repurchase it but unfortunately I do not at this time. Perhaps that will change in the future because I did believe the product was effective when in use. It was so disheartening when they ceased to function so soon. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Terrible product. This item was defective in under six months of use. I purchased two and both of them ceased to do their job around the three month mark. Upon reaching out to the sellers they refused to send replacements. This is not a company that stands by their product or values customer satisfaction. I would strongly advise shopping elsewhere. Certainly there are better ways to spend our money and this isn’t it.

Worked well for about 8 months and then the light went out. The mice are back. A little pricey for something that didn't even last a year.

I have had this plugged in since I received it. It has definitely decreased the mouse activity in my home. I have had no pests. Some customers with larger homes may want to purchase more than one however as it cannot penetrate walls or furniture. That is the only reason I took one star away.

I’ve been using this ultrasonic pest repeller for a few weeks now and I’m honestly impressed. We live in a house, so spiders and occasional ants were an issue, especially in colder months. After plugging this in, I noticed a big difference — fewer insects, and the space just feels cleaner and calmer. It’s completely silent, compact, and doesn’t disturb kids or pets, which is a huge plus. Super easy to use — just plug it in and forget about it. Great alternative to chemicals. Definitely recommend!
