This is an outstanding mouse. Functionally, it tracks perfectly out of the box on my wood surface desk. I was hesitant about the skirt along the bottom back edge, but when using, this provides a lot of support for your hand so that you don't have to constantly lift the hand to prevent touching the desk during movements. With the skirt, the entire hand glides over the surface. I love the vertical ergonomic design. My old mouse was similar and after using this design, it's very hard to go back to a traditional mouse. This fits the drop and curvature of my hand perfectly, leaving no room for awkward angles or the possibility of carpal pain. The dpi control is very responsive. Everything works perfectly out of the box. One minor detail is the thumb back button, which is on the edge of a lip, and is angled a little too aggressively. Pressing with the side of the thumb's knuckle will put pressure on the mouse's edge and sometime fail to activate the button. Pressing with the thumb's tip however will always activate. This is a really great ergonomic mouse. I have finally switched over to using this mouse for work and gaming.

This is an interesting mouse but I believe it was designed for a larger hand. All of the buttons work fine for me except for the back and forward buttons for the browser. I can't reach the forward button with my thumb without having to squeeze the mouse which of course causes other things to happen. It is also an unusual weight and shape. I think it would work well for someone who is always working with the mouse at their desk and wants to change their hand position sometimes. It is very easy to install and use. So it would not be a problem to change back-and-forth between mice. For me it is too big and bulky as I usually use it sitting in my armchair and Ihave small hands.

I had not heard of a ‘vertical mouse’ until I saw a listing for one on Amazon recently. They are advertised as better for one’s wrist and the conventional mice that I have used for many years do get tiring for me because of the unnatural position required for my wrist by my desk setup. I am using this Nulea mouse as I write this review and I can easily feel the difference. While it takes a little time to get used to the different positions of the left and right click buttons, it is far more comfortable and works well. I do wish it had Bluetooth so it does not tie up a valuable USB connection on my laptop or at least a USB-C rather than USB-A connection, it will still replace a more expensive, name-brand mouse as my preferred pointing device.

I have a large hand and I've been using one of the Bluetooth regular mice from Microsoft for the last 2 years and another ergonomic Microsoft mouse a few years prior. Both mice worked great until the Bluetooth kept dropping and I had to research into something that could help me with the pain I normally get from using the mouse for longer periods of time. I've used the vertical mice from other brands before but they were smaller than I would liked so I went back to the normal mouse. This changed when I ran into this because this one is larger than the other mice I've used and it is now comfortable for me to use as it is larger than my grasp.

I got this for my son's 13th birthday. On one of the computers he uses frequently, there was a crummy, old, wired mouse which needed to go!This mouse is interesting because it is an "ergonomic" design and he probably spends too much time mousing around. Since he is still in a developmental phase (including physically), I thought this might be a good option.Unfortunately, the ergonomics are less than perfect, both for him and for me (I have also used it a bit over the past two weeks).The two drawbacks from "perfect" ergonomics for us are the degree of tilt and the placement of the buttons, especially the right mouse button.We both feel the mouse would be *significantly* more comfortable to the wrist if the tilt were approximately 10 degrees LESS. If you "hang" your hands relaxed by your sides and lift them so your forearms are horizontal, you will note your hands naturally rest at about 45% from horizontal/vertical. The angle of this mouse is significantly "steeper" than that.Furthermore, the right mouse button is too "high" on it's plane. Since the fingers are inclined when using this type of mouse (rather than a "conventional" horizontal mouse) you may experience that especially(?) your ring finger wants to "droop" a bit -- likely due to the effect of gravity on a finger **which should be as relaxed as possible**.Driving this mouse, my son and I both have our pinkies resting on the desk and our ring finger (aka right mouse-button finger) ALMOST at the level of the desk. This means the finger is touching the rigid part of the mouse's shell rather than the button. Therefore, "effort" (potential strain) is required to lift that finger to engage the button.The wheel would be better if it were ALSO slightly lower on the plane. The optimal position for both of us (with quite different hand sizes!) would be about where the gap between the wheel and the right button is.The "simple" solution to both of these ergonomic issues would be for the manufacturer to make BOTH the LEFT and the RIGHT mouse button significantly wider for each finger to have an easier target. This would simultaneously move BOTH the wheel and the right buttons lower towards the desk.The forward and back buttons are also placed a bit uncomfortably for our thumbs. A "solution" there is less obvious. Placing the buttons under the thumb might lead to unwanted clicks since the thumb is "required" to grip this type of mouse. [ That's not necessary on a horizontal mouse where the weight of the hand can move the mouse and squeezing the thumb to control the major motion of the mouse is not necessary. ]

Never used a sharkfin style mouse before, but I'm learning to enjoy it more. This is a comfortable, designed really nicely, and functions well. The only downside i have with this is I'm not sure how the bottom/skirt is supposed to work. My hand wants to slide off of it and it will drag around the mouse pad. If i hold it up higher, I feel like I'm straining a bit to use the mouse. Overall, it's a really nice mouse and it could be that it's just me having to get used to it.

Une première souris ergonomique pour moi.Après un temps d'adaptation, elle est très agréable à l'usage.La connexion se fait bien et sans interférence - testée avec windows 11.La précision peut être réglée.Nécessite 2 piles qui ne sont pas fournies. Normalement l'indicateur au dessus indique l'usure (mais je ne suis pas encore arrivé jusque là)Elle peut être utilisée sur toutes les surfaces, mais personnellement j'utilise un tapis rigide.Une bonne souris.

Adquirí este ratón por probarlo, ya que hasta ahora he usado ratones de los típicos de toda la vida (los normales) y al usarlos tanto tiempo como los uso, me termina doliendo la parte inferior derecha de la mano (donde está el hueso) y cada X tiempo, tengo que ir cambiando de posición, teniendo incluso una almohadilla para mitigar el dolor, que ayuda, pero no evita que me siga molestando por la postura.Tengo que decir que con este ratón, el brazo va en línea con la mano en mi caso, como se puede ver en las fotos (una de las fotos es con mi viejo ratón, en la que se puede ver la mano apoyada en la mesa y el antebrazo hacia arriba), ya no apoyo la parte inferior de la mano, sino que se queda el brazo recto y sin forzar esa postura tan incómoda; así que, ha sido todo un descubrimiento y en este sentido, todo un acierto.Con respecto al ratón en si, pues tiene sus cosas buenas y malas (para mi gusto) como todo. Es de plástico muy ligero, lo cual es bueno porque es ligero, pero no me gusta esa sensación de ser tan frágil, que lo mismo no lo es, pero la da.Al principio te resulta un poco raro el manejo, porque después de años con otra posición de manos, es como todo, hasta que no te acostumbras lo notas "raruno". Pero, una vez que llevas un rato, ni lo notas y funcionas con el de forma automática como si los hubieras usado siempre.Otra cosa que no me gusta es que es muy plástico. La rueda viene engomada y el ratón viene como con una pintura que da sensación de estar engomada, pero la parte inferior (la que está en contacto con la mesa) es de plástico y no tiene las típicas almohadillas que le quitan ese rozar tan desagradable del plástico con la madera. Eso se soluciona con una alfombrilla, pero se podría haber puesto algo que evitara ese roce.Y por contra, una cosa que me ha gustado mucho, es que tiene un botón detrás de la rueda que te permite elegir la velocidad o sensibilidad con la que se mueve, así que simplemente con pulsar ese botón, el puntero se mueve más lento o más rápido por la pantalla.Sobre las especificaciones no voy a comentar nada, ya que están en la publicidad. Prefiero explicar mi experiencia y poner unas fotos, que hacer un análisis de las especificaciones y alargar la reseña.En resumen: Para mi (y para mis articulaciones) ha sido un descubrimiento muy bueno y estoy super contento con el de momento.¡Ah! Se me olvidaba comentar que es un poco tocho, su tamaño no tiene nada que ver con los ratones tradicionales; más bien, parece un ratón empotrado en una base de plástico, es algo llamativo.

Ahora, hay que acostumbrarse un poco. Me paso el día usando el ratón y desde hace un tiempo vengo sufriendo de la mano por la cantidad de horas que estoy al PC, y es que se me termina agarrotando y los dedos se engatillan a la menor (sobre todo el anular). Por eso decidí cambiar de ratón a uno vertical, y lo cierto es que he mejorado.El ratón sorprende un poco (parece una nave o un barco) y cuando lo coges por primera vez lo sientes extraño. Tienes que acostúmbrate por que las cosas no están como habitualmente las encuentras en tu ratón de toda la vida, pero una vez que le coges el tranquillo, la verdad es que funciona muy bien y notas que tanto la mano, como la muñeca y el brazo están más descansados y distendidos ya que no se fuerzan tanto y se mueven de forma más natural.Ergonómicamente se ajusta a la mano a la perfección, y aunque es grande, lo sientes cómodo. Tardas en ser rápido al desplazar el cursor y tener tanta precisión como con el ratón de siempre, pero al final lo logras y todo funciona muy bien. Según lo agarras (es como coger una manzana o un objeto, con el pulgar a la izquierda y los demás dedos a la derecha, como cuando das la mano a otra persona), la superficie de la zona de los dedos es móvil siendo la parte superior (la del dedo índice) el botón izquierdo, y la inferior (la del dedo medio) el botón derecho. Y, entre medias de ambos, está la rueda que también hace scroll, el botón para cambiar el DPI (800, 1200 y 1600) y un indicador de baterías bajas. Al otro lado, en la zona del pulgar, están los botones adelante y atrás. Todo funciona igual que un ratón normal lo único que varía es la forma de agarrar el ratón.Y todo en él funciona muy bien. Es bonito y vistoso, está bien diseñado y tiene buena fábrica. Se alimenta de dos pilas AAA (que no se incluyen) y se desconecta automáticamente si no lo usas durante 15 minutos. Es óptico e inalámbrico (tiene receptor USB) y es plug and play (se instala sólo). Trae manual de instrucciones en español y tarjeta de garantía por 12 meses.Todo es correcto, agradable y funcional en este ratón. No le encuentro pegas, es diferente, y, en lo que a mí respecta, me mejora los problemas articulares de la mano, brazo y muñeca. Y ahora que lo manejo con soltura, estoy muy satisfecho con él.
