Great flavour if you give it some extras.
I write this honest review to try and silence the wierd haters. Excellent value, budget packaging so the resealer strip needs a manual bag clip or 2 if you have one or just tip into airtight plastic container. Not found a scoop yet so don't know if there is one but everybody has a tablespoon right? FLAVOUR To be fair i don't like chocolate shakes but you know what...its not bad. Look its a high protein whey and soy supplement. It's not gonna taste like a delicious thick and creamy chocolate shake either home made or high street. But I give it 9 out of 10. Is it a bit powdery? Sure. But im telling you from experience there are so many worse out there. If you want shake shack flavour just try and blend it with a few bits and pieces. I added yoghurt, banana my nutrient seed mix and milk and it was pretty good. A.d remember I would never order a chocolate shake but it was the only flavour available so I took a gamble. The ingredients speak for themselves. Its a great whey and soy mix, high protein and don't be nervous at all about the flavour... Just give it a little help to thicken it up (bit of ice or freeze the banana). Update 29 Aug found the scoop in the powder buried deep lol

Excellent protein for the money.
Bought the chocolate peanut blend, nothing wrong with it, it's protein powder, the flavour and sweetness isn't that strong, but I like that, I've used other powders that contain far too much sweeteners, this (for me) is just right. I really don't see why there's been a lot whining about it in other reviews. Well worth the price, why pay more for 'posh' packaging, I mix it with milk with an electric blender and it mixes great.

Does the job at great value
Mixes well-better than most of their more expensive competitors. Bit of a funky smell and taste is ok, personally prefer the chocolate version. Gets a 4 because of price.

Not nice
Even at £10 per kg, I can’t recommend this protein powder. The taste really isn’t pleasant—chalky and artificial, though I accept that may be subjective. I compared it with my favourites (Science in Sport Rego, PhD, and a cheaper OMNIA Pure Whey Protein Powder), and this one fell short. Despite the low price, the flavour made it hard to finish, and I ended up giving it away. Another drawback is that it’s a soy blend, like some PhD options, which I prefer to avoid. OMNIA, for example, is pure whey concentrate and worth paying a little more for in my opinion. If you’re only after a budget protein source and don’t mind the taste, it might suit you—but personally, I wouldn’t buy it again.

Taste like chalk
Agree with most of the reviews that this protein powder tastes like Chalk. The package is resealable using Velcro and does have good amount of protein however that is a mix of soya and whey, to keep it affordable. It does not dissolve well and remains lumpy. Overall quality and taste is reflected in the price.

Knowing This Makes This Product Great
Some people are having problems because they’re not preparing it the way the product is intended. When making a shake: Fill your bottle just under half full with skimmed milk/water plus whole milk Add a scoop of the powder Put in some ice cubes Add your other ingredients - obviously none necessary but customising will make it taste better. I use smooth peanut butter. Shake vigorously If the mixture isn’t smooth yet, keep shaking. If it is, add more water/milk then give it a final brief shake This is how you avoid lumps and make the flavour great for you. Any bottle will do fine, but a proper shaker bottle is about £3 on here, and comes with a piece of metal which will help the shake to become smooth. The ice cubes also help in the regard. Adding some milk rather than just water helps the flavour, but high fat content milk won’t be able to absorb all of the powder. The first time I made this I tried just mixing in a glass with a spoon - it ended up exactly as some other reviewers have described it, lumpy and strange tasting. Shaking properly and adding some ingredients to your own taste makes this an incredibly cheap and tasty source of protein that I can’t recommend highly enough

Give it a miss
Not pleasant. Tastes bad and there is a bad after taste. Very messy to deal with as the powder is very fine and covers everything in dust. If you don't consume immediately, it rapidly separates.

Decent protein powder
No issues at all with this protein powder, the nutritional value is really good for the price and the flavour is much better than I expected. I’ve had quite a few different varieties of protein powders in my time and this is up there with the better tasting ones. Obviously it isn’t going to taste like a Mcdonalds shake or anything like that but in a pint of semi skimmed milk its fine and dissolves mostly all the way, yet still grainy in bits.
