The light itself is very bright for a 60w (actually closer to 80w max power draw fyi). Beam angle is narrower than a lot of others, but that probably helps it maintain such impressive brightness and is also quite useful for certain circumstances. This will definitely go in my travel kit since it’s so small and compact and has an NP battery plate. It’s got good brightness to work as a key for tighter interviews, otherwise would work well as an accent light. Bi color is all I usually need out of most of my lights so this is a great addition to the kit.Design:Here’s where it gets weird. First, it has a mini bowens-style mount natively, but it comes with an adapter ring for standard bowens size. I really don’t like proprietary mounts (though I partially understand why on these smaller lights) but at least it comes with an adapter. HOWEVER, when you attach the adapter, the umbrella holes don’t line up to each other, so you can only insert and umbrella pole about an inch into the receiver on the adapter before it hits the mount on the light itself. Granted, the vast majority of the time you’re using the adapter to use a Bowens mount modifier so you’re not likely using an umbrella with said modifier, but still. It’s a very odd design oversight.Second: there is no cover for the LED lamp like a lot of other COB lights come with. At least the case is designed to house the light with the reflector attached so there is some protection but even then I would prefer to see some sort of cap that can cover the end of the reflector.Build quality is decent overall, and the menu and dials are clear and easy to use.There is some visual stepping to the fade most noticeable below 50% intensity, it’s not completely smooth all the way through to 0, so just be aware.Still, overall a nice powerful little light despite some design oddities.

I was surprised at the amount of light this outputs while still remaining lightweight and compact. Colors are fairly accurate as well. Comes with a nice carrying case that houses everything. Controls are pretty intuitive. All in all its a well rounded unit.

This is such a great answer to having a smaller light, with a smaller footprint for unique rigging, but no sacrifice to quality and output. I also love all of the included accessories and the carry case - this is literally something that you can start using professionally the moment you get it. The bi-color range is awesome and the controls are easy to use. Inputs and changes are quick. The included reflector functions more like a snoot, providing a narrow beam of light, but honestly, that's really nice to have and considering that I have a bunch of reflectors, getting a wider beam isn't too much of a hassle - but it's something you have to consider if you want to use a different reflector than the one included. Light quality is exactly what you'd expect from Nanlite. This is a great light to have in your kit.

This attractive and well-made LED light set from Nanlite exceeded my expectations. It arrived well-packaged and secure. The components are contained nicely within a sturdy case. The light was easy to assemble and prepare for use. The position and temperature may be adjusted to project as needed for the occasion. I experienced no issues using my lighting gear with this device. I'm glad to have this equipment as part of my set-up.All in all, I'm pleased with this light kit. Should my experience with it change in the future, the review will be updated.

This is a really nice and compact light, it is bright, color accurate, and easy to use. It comes in a really neat carrying case. The only thing I wish it had come with is some sort of diffuser, I'm not expecting anything big but it would have been nice to have even just a milky white lens cover for the cone on the front.

The media could not be loaded. Comes with almost everything you might need for a compact video light.My favorite accessory included in this kit is the NP-F to DC power adapter. It doubles as a handle, making it possible to make a handheld lighting rig. If not using it handheld, the handle also has a proprietary mount for light stands.Something else I like is the included carrying case, which allows for safer transport and prevents damage to the gear during bumpy roads.I don't have anything against this light, but I did notice some scratches on the unit which shouldn't really be there.Other from that, I highly recommend this light.
