This kit contains more large stud fasteners than I will ever need - enough for a lifetime of sewing jeans and leather goods! It comes with a very sturdy, good quality fastener tool, and the poppers come in a range of shades to suit any project.I am also a yacht and dinghy sailor, and it's useful to have a kit like this around for sail repairs, particularly when out and about in places unlikely to have a nearby chandlery. The set is advertised as marine grade, and although I have not had to make use of the set yet for any broken sails, I'm sure it will be used in future, and the quality of the components provided seems perfectly adequate to enable a fairly strong repair.When not sailing, I do a lot of sewing, including heavyweight denim and occasionally leather, so the kit should come in handy here too.Although an impressive set, I find the price a little high - not overpriced, but at the top end. However, you get what you pay for, and as both the fasteners and the tool are very sturdy and well made, I am certainly not complaining.

This press stud fitting kit, comes with everything that you require. The press studs themselves look to be really good quality, and are easy to fit for the tools provided. But all itself, is quite easy to use. And feels quite good in the hand. It's probably one of the easiest kits that I have come across for fitting pressure studs. As it doesn't require you to use a hammer to drive home the pins.

Excellent set of fasteners, complete with a heavy duty fixing tool.The fasteners are ALL one size, but in 4 different colours. They are neatly pre-sorted into their individual rows, so it's easy to do the job methodically without having to root around a bag of mixed components, searching for the relevant bits.I've got a smaller-diameter set of fasteners already, and although they're OK for light jobs, the ones here are larger much more robust... as they need to be for heavier materials.I really do like this kit, and wished I'd had this heavier-duty type before now, having struggled a bit with the smaller fasteners (my fault). The price is a little on the high side however IMO, and needs to come down somewhat to be competitive.On a quality/value-for-money basis... 4-Stars (5 with a discount voucher).
