Pret A Manger Food on the Move

This was great, I was wondering why buying it new would be so expensive as I didn't think it was that big so I bought it used and the book is huge, absolutely packed completely full with recipes, interesting notes and photos. You could tell that it had been used but it was in great condition still. Very happy.

I brought this for my friend he is a pret whore, he goes daily (denies it) but we know he goes. I thought what better way to celebrate his pret love than to get a book on pret. It started 5 years ago when his obsession took over not only was his chin taking over his face his pret obsession was taking over his chin. He loves it. can't get enough pret. #pretforlife

I bought this for my wife as a source of ideas for family picnics in the New Forest. It is packed with great recipes and lovely pictures. I live on Pret food when on the go in London. I only wish they franchised their operations. Still if you are wanting to set yourself up in the sandwich and wrap business this book needs to be in your library.

This recipe book is very well presented, glossy pages but unfortunately no pictures. There's some cooking involved but a lot of recipes are combinations of ready made things to put in a wrap or sandwich. There's also baking, soup and drinks. What I like the most is that there's loads to read about Pret's ideas and inspirations, which you can choose to read or not. But it shows a lot of love has went into the making of this book.

Finally got the book 6 days later.

Amazon’s picture and description were rather dour but as I am a fan of Pret I bought it anyway. Happy with more than half the recipes.

easy to read and clear demonstration, the materials are not hard to get either.a good book all in all .

Very good interesting recipes however I found myself less driven to use this book simply because of lack of pictures attached to recipes. Something I have never thought it would make a difference.

Sehr gute Pret a Manger Rezepte. Wer Pret mag und kennt, kommt voll auf seine Kosten! Das Buch hatte auch eine sehr gute Qualität, obwohl es gebraucht war.

While fairly old, this book is still cute and useful for fans of Pret. It's much more than just sandwiches, with personal favourites such as Love Bars (mmmmm). Nice book, nicely packed with delights.

I Love cookbooks. I often hear the argument, why buy cookbooks when you can find the recipes online. Well, go try Googling or Binging a recipe, & what will come up is tons of different recipes for the same dish. How to choose, who can you trust? I confess I spent a lot of time at the library as a child. In retrospect, I now see it was my aunt's way of not having to hire a babysitter. However, I did learn about the special part of the library called the "Reference Section", and that's where all the good stuff always was. I have over the past few years built my own reference section of cooking books. I am extraordinarily pleased to add Pret DIY to my library, especially as it's so hard to get now. It's an excellent book; can be adapted easily to your taste & is great for ideas. Oddly, Pret has not made it to the west coast, so I think people out west may appreciate it even more. Pret as a company is such a simple idea, but they execute it so well it should be admired by other companies for being such a great corporate business model. It is one of the few companies where the employees seem like they genuinely like their jobs. When you put out good, you are just good. If you can find this book, I would buy it post-haste. I have actually made quite a few of the recipes, and the results are perfectly delicious!
