Worth the money and keeps you really engaged
As we watch a lot of true crimes as a family our amateur sleuthing nature came out full force one afternoon. It took a few hours to do and we went all out to solve this murder mystery. We had a crime board and everything. Taking the envelopes out in the order they’re set out created a need to know excitement and we couldn’t wait to solve this mystery. There were photos, clippings clues and interactive phone links which added to this challenge. I think this would make a great party idea for adults to really get their teeth into to engage their detecting skills. Highly recommend, even though the one I chose was a hard level we still brought the killer to justice. Move over Sherlock, we are the new super sleuths family fighting the criminals.

Fun
Love these games, just the right amount of difficulty so that everyone can take part regardless of intelligence level.

Family Fun!
Two adults, two teenagers and a 1 year old. We had great fun playing this - we completed it over two nights and it was just the right 'difficulty' level for everyone to get involved. The 'online' aspect of this was excellent, and perfect for teenage brains. The adults hypothesised what had happened quite early on, and thankfully we got it right, so we're able to guide the 13 & 15 year old along the right lines to guess the murder correctly. I wouldn't recommended it necessarily for a group of adults only.I will 100% be buying another from their range for another weekend of fun!

Good quality
Great entertainment for all the family, easy but not too easy and great value for money.

Nice mystery game
We love doing escape room type games. This one is not the hardest for sure, but it's fun and different. One thing to note is that it's re-useable. A lot of these games involve damage to the paperwork as you progress, or puzzles that involve cutting or folder, and there is none of that. You won't want to do it twice of course, but you can share with others when you complete the game. There's an online element so you need a phone handy. And of course that means there's a risk one day it won't be available.Quality is really good - I like the variety and well printed pieces included.Lots of reading which is common with these games - not for the easily distracted - but you can get into it, work through it, and enjoy solving the puzzles. Set aside a couple of hours for this one. It's not perfect, but it's pretty good fun so an easy recommendation and 4 stars. Particularly recommended for the influencer angle which may attract new players, and for newbies to the game type.

Don’t buy
Don’t buy it’s a really boring and long winded game. I would not purchase something like this again. No role play it’s just papers-not worth what we paid

Easy solving / great material
Have bought from the Cryptic Killers before and loved it. My 14 y.o. kid thinks she's a detective so loves solving these. Thought this would be similar but... it is much better on the quality of materials, pics, etc, but the level of difficulty is very low. She has solved it in less than 2 hrs knowing that there was a lot of content to read, and that's what took the majority of the time. Even when reporting online why the suspects are suspects, you can easily cheat to find the solution (went back after finishing to find it was possible). Great that it can be repacked as originally arrived to pass to a friend.
