Placemats are a little on the big side so they tend to take over the table a little. They are made of a weaved plastic type of material so they are not very easy to clean. They are quite heatproof though .

Love these placements. I use them on a table in our conservatory. This area gets a lot of sun which has quickly faded my tablecloth; however, these place mats have maintained their original color!
