The good thing about these is that they're great for the 3-5 age range where they're just bouncing from playing with one thing to the next. This is perfect for that, as well as going through phases of obsession. The problem with this, I guess it isn't REAAALLY a problem, but some of the accessories seem to be pretty low quality, but you get that with these types of toys.I think the price is pretty decent, would prefer to see it a little lower, around the $20-25 range instead of pushing 30, but not a major issue, and there is the $5 coupon listed which at the time of this review would bring it down to $22, so right in my ideal value range.Overall, its a good toy for imaginative play.

The first thing I look for is a straight face on the stuffed animal. This one is cute!Lots of accessories. Nothing electronic but that’s ok because it means a child can just use their imagination. All the accessories store under the puppy seat. A gender-neutral design would be a nice option too cause little boys also like pretend play.

Couldn't have been a more perfect gift for my 5 year old. Combines three of her favorites things; animals (especially puppies), backpacks (which she has a collection of) and playing doctor/vet (which is what she says she wants to be in the future). I wouldn't say the quality/durability of the stuff is high, but it's also not bad compared to other toys in this price range. Not sure how much she will use it in the long run as kids her age are addicted to something for a few weeks then move onto something else haha.

Such a cute idea - a vet backpack to carry around your dog and your portable vet office! Unfortunately the execution doesn’t fully live up to the expectation. After opening the backpack (easy), the child has to take the dog and the large countertop out to reach the items below, take them out, then replace the shelf and add the countertop and sink to the shelf (not as easy). The tools are just ok and there are 4 hooks to hang them by but only the scissors is able to hang there and the countertop cannot fit the other tools if the dog is there. The pet food and med boxes are cardboard which in our house doesn’t stay looking good long. Still, that all would be ok, but then you have to take everything off, remove the sink and side countertop from center big countertop (more difficult), remove the large countertop itself, put the tools back in (the stethoscope gets a little crimped), replace the large countertop, close the top sides (can be a little tricky), put the dog in, then close the top and latch it (latching can also be a little tricky. See video. It requires a lot of coordination for a little one. I expect to be asked for help often. Then I expect my grandkids will get tired of asking and leave it unclosed with the tools everywhere… You also have to put all the decals on yourself using the pictures on the box because there are no instructions. I left one decal off because it was water with bubbles intended for the sink but to place it there I would have had to cover up the small raised plastic “drain holes.” So I would probably not order this again although I’d be interested in seeing an improved version as the idea is cute and appealing.
