Anthony's Organic Shredded Coconut, 2 lb, Unsweetened, Gluten Free, Non GMO, Vegan, Keto Friendly

Super fresh and great tasting! I love the fact that it is organic considering that I use this to make homemade fresh coconut milk. I feel it is a great value for the money and all in all I will be saving money from buying it in the cartons, but the taste is not even comparable, this makes the best fresh coconut milk without having to crack open a fresh raw coconut!! My recipe is 1.5 c coconut, 3 c filtered water, 1/2 t vanilla, dash of honey as well as Chinese five spice powder, pinch of salt. Whirl it all up in the Vitamix and strain with a really nice quality nut bag to get all that beautiful goodness out of it…It is divine!!

Great product with amazing versatility in recipes. Healthy fat, no added sugar, fresh coconut flavor. Sprinkle on yogurt, ice cream, fresh fruit and berries, etc.

About 2 hours after ordering Anthony's Organic Shredded Coconut, I had second thoughts. Perhaps I'd ordered coconut flakes, or large chunky shreds of coconut? When I couldn't find ANY reference to FINELY shredded coconut on product description, I tried to cancel my order... Oopsie! Too late.... the packing/shipping process had already started. Luckily, I read through the reviews and discovered people intending to buy coconut flakes ended up with this product and were unhappy. I was in luck!! In terms of size, I'd say that each coconut shred is larger than a grain of dried quinoa and smaller than a cooked grain of quinoa or millet. I'll just add that this product is excellent! It's very fresh and moist and delicious! It's flavorful and perfect for my breakfast muesli or baking. I'm so happy I opened this rather than return it.

Great taste

I get on a roll sometimes and incorporate coconut in my morning oat bran health shakes, blueberry/cherry smoothies, coconut chia seed pudding and other recipes so I liked seeing the jumbo sack option. It is not as finely shredded as my other regular purchase but the flavor, freshness and texture are on point. And not having to order often is another plus. Since I am usually putting it into a blender, the texture is less important until I make coconut chia seed pudding. I'll likely use the food processor to get it a little finer in texture.

This is the latest in several purchases i have made from this company. Their quality is always good, the product arrives in a tinely fashion, and the price is reasonable
