How can such a terrible product have such good points about it?
Is your primary concern how long the batteries will last? Well, guess what, from getting out of bed until you end the day and go to sleep, if you run these headphones non-stop, they will outlast you. I promise you.Let me tell you my experience working with these headphones.I previously had a Logitech G300 series set of headphones. I had bought them with a number of Logitech products that I had purchased the same week, all of which decided to develop irreparable problems in the same week a year and a half later, with the sole exception of the wireless mouse. THAT still works. So, it looks like a case of a built-in lifespan, so no Logitech products for me. (The man who taught me how to rebuild pianos told me a life rule. Once is a shame, twice is a coincidence, three times is a conspiracy. I had four Logitech products the same age go out the same week.) I bought these headphones because I really couldn't afford to replace the Logitech set with another set from a brand of similar quality. What a downgrade this is.First, I didn't realize they were bluetooth, so I had to buy a bluetooth dongle. It took me all day to try to get the dongle to read these headphones. One thing I can tell you is that the earpieces are really comfortable. They're as comfortable as the Logitech set, so that's a plus, and it's not as heavy of a unit (seriously, those Logitech's are a pair of bricks on the sides of your head.).So, while I was waiting for the dongle to arrive, I had these paired with my phone. Playing tabletop RPGs with my friends, the sound quality was good through the phone, but the microphone was terrible. They can barely hear me, have to turn me up and everyone else down, and about every hour, I have to remove the microphone and reinsert it because it becomes horribly distorted. Once the dongle arrived (I've already briefly described my pairing trouble: that was my fault so I won't go into it.) I thought everything was great! The sound was fantastic! Then came the inevitable moment when I paired to my Discord app. The sound was terrible. It was like listening to an old radio with bad reception. My microphone had equally bad sound quality, except now it was loud and they could hear me fine. From that point onward, the sound was terrible across everything on my computer, and I knew exactly what it was. It has two sound settings: audio renderer and hands-free. The audio renderer was the good sound setting. The hands-free setting was the really bad setting. So, I found out what the problem was a week later. If you've got a second app open, only the hands-free setting will work, so I had to shut down Discord entirely in order to use the audio renderer setting again. Unfortunately, Discord will only work exclusively with the hands-free setting, which is objectively terrible. Not only that, but the hands-free setting, if the headphones start to bog down, can lag as much as 20 minutes! I have this problem across several programs where only Windows ten will read the audio renderer setting and any other program only understands the hands free setting. If it were just the audio renderer that worked, I would give these headphones five stars verbatim. If it were just the hands-free setting that worked, I would give them one star, verbatim. Unfortunately, only one works at a time depending on what you're using it for, the good setting only works for video games and Youtube, and nothing else. For anything else, you have to use a sound setting that is objectively awful. So, 3 stars for instead of five because you can't always use the good setting, and take off a star for the stupid nonsense you have to go through.Give these a hard pass. I can work with them. Fine. But if you've got a choice, why would you?EDIT: After correspondence with the company, it's clear to me that the problems I have with these headphones is the same I would have with any bluetooth pair, and the more I work with them, the more that makes sense. Using them on desktop is not ideal. Dedicated bluetooth devices such as smartphones are probably going to work better. I will admit that for their problems, they are, thus far reliable. If I could up this to two and a half stars, I would, but I can't; it's either two or three with Amazon's review system--no in between. Until compatibility issues with bluetooth cease to exist, I can't really recommend ANY pair of bluetooth headphones. So, two stars is where they stay.

It's a very good headset
I bought this during a lightning deal.Overall:The headset has a nice feel when you wear it, but if you wear it for long periods of time, and wear glasses, they start to hurt your ears. I realize everyone has different size ears, but I was hoping this would completely cup my ears but they barely don't creating the issue with glasses and ear pain. It does a very good job of shutting out background noise though. I like that the microphone is detachable and it can become a pair of headphones. If you're going with bluetooth so that you can walk around, I would recommend getting a USB extension cable and mounting the receiver in a high, open place so that you get good reception.Bluetooth:In windows 10, the sound options gives you two different methods of sound supplied by the device driver. one is this terrible drowned out sounding option (I can't think of what it's called at the moment), and then an option for stereo which sounds great, so make sure to choose this on your audio options (left click the sound icon in the taskbar, and click the OneAudio name to see your options). I would say that the bluetooth voice functionality beats the wired connection by a long shot, but I will get to that shortly. Volume up and down increases and decreases sound value by a lot (I believe 6-8) which is OK for turning down sound in a hurry, but that is the one thing bluetooth doesn't have, a mute button. I couldn't find one anywhere. It does pick up on some background noise even after adjusting sensitivity in Discord, and other voice programs, but it's not terrible unless you have noisy kids in the background.Wired Option:I do like having the option of going wired if your battery is dying. The sound quality is great, maybe even better than the bluetooth stereo option. The wireshave a braided mesh, which I like since they tend to be more durable, and have the option to mute your microphone and a volume control wheel. Sadly, the microphone quality was terrible. I kept hearing complaint of a constant static noise over Skype and Discord, and no matter what adjustments I made, it would not go away. I could even hear it at times when two or more people talked and there was a feed back loop. I know my microphone port was ok because I never had this complaint with my previous headset where the left side died.
