McGraw-Hill's GED Mathematics : The Most Comprehensive and Reliable Study Program for the GED Math Test

I love it ,this book has help me to get ready for my exam, in September to have my G E D. certificate I already pass 4 tests now I need to pass the math test , This book is easy to understand ,2 teachers have bought the same book to help them in the classroom .also I bought the book 7 power number ,but I have not recived it yet,and do not knw why when I tried to trck it down it allways says the store is closed. Maybe it was a fraud store on line that is sad.

In this book I found everything I needed to complement the studies I had in the Adult Basic Education school where I re-started studying after several years, although I have had good mathematics classes when I was young. The book goes direct to the point and was easy to understand, and English is my second language another reason I say it is a good book. There is something important to mention though. The Kindle version is not exactly the best to study as the paper basis book.The letters are not able to be increased to be read easily. You cannot enlarge them. So I used a magnifier for some examples given in the book, or exercise. Another not so interesting thing is the order of pages. The book gives you the page where you will find the answers of each exercise, but the pages at Kindle version are not exactly related according to the paper book, so it is a little bit annoying and really timing consuming to find the answers in the end of the content. The pages are kind of messed up. Of course, after doing it over and over again I finally could do it faster. Other than that the book achieved its purpose.

I'm a college student and I'm not horrible in math but there are some concepts that i just don't completely grasp. Now I wouldnt recommend it for statistic courses but if you're in a high school or college level algebra and trig class like myself this book is perfect. I was a little skeptical myself being that it's marketed as a G.E.D book but the saying is true don't judge a book by it's cover.

I got this book for my daughter and it is helping her to understand the concepts of math that her teachers failed to ever help her with.Math will be her last test before earning her GED and being able to move on with her life into her career in the medical field. Bought it for a friend who is new to the country

I am using it with a student to help her get her GED. We're moving slowly through the book, and hour a week, and I'm surprised at the things I had forgotten from my high-school math! So, as a GED review, I think it's perfect. It even suggests what calculator to buy for compliance with test rules, very comprehensive, very complete. As a personal math review for a high-school graduate wanting to brush up, it's also great!

I've been teaching GED classes for 10 years. Most of the class time is spent reviewing math skills. This book has everything in it that the students need to know and it's much smaller than the complete GED books. My students tell me that they really like these books.
