Unclear what 216 count means - how many packs of 6 pairs is this?

I was confused by this too! But I've taken it to mean "6 x Value Packs (36 Pairs)" as it says this in the main Title. Very misleading! I found it unhelpful that none of the reviews mentioned the quantity either. Sounds too good to be true for 216 (aka. 18 packs) count. Following the trend of the other choices, 6 packs sounds like this price range (£29). It's unhelpful that the Count/Cost is incorrectly calculated for the 5 pack too! So I understand your frustration! If anyone has reviewed a 216 count purchase, please let us know how much you got!

When it says count in the description, is that how many pairs there are?

"Count" is how many individual ear plugs come in the order. Except the 216 count is a mistake (you actually get 72). All the rest are accurate.

What 6 pair(pack of 2), 12 count (pack of 2) meaning?

12 earplugs in each pack (6 pairs). 2 packs = 24 earplugs (12pairs). They're very good earplugs!

are they suiable for children

I do not think so as you can buy special ones for children. These are too big for their ears.
