My first thought while reading this was either one or both of these authors must do stand up acts. Honestly, I needed the laughter and there was a lot of it here with all of Simon's one liners. Clever. There was a point where I had to take a moment by shutting off my Kindle for approximately five minutes to wipe the smile and permanent smirk off my face because my husband and one of my son's was giving me odd looks. At one point my husband asks, "what gives, what is so funny?" Of course there was just too much to share because at a certain percentage of the read Simon's one liners just kept coming and Bridget's blushing became funny, too, which never happens for me. Usually I get annoyed with the heroine's blushing but not here. Heck I think most women would have blushed too considering the setting most times.I was surprised with this story, it's a rarity that the story line takes a different turn. Normally, I've heard/read it all before and judge the spin on the writing but not here, Ben and Bridget's situation was a first for me (not giving away any spoilers here, read it to see what I mean). Truthfully, my five star review came way before the reveal because Simon and Bridget's dialogue was refreshing, well delivered and much needed. This is a very enjoyable read with a beautiful ending. Criticism does not belong here, don't do that to either author with this one. Take this book for what it is, light, sexy and very, very comical. Nothing more and nothing less, just a great, fun loving sexy read. Brendan and others are just a bonus.Sexy, yes. Cheating, no. Threesomes, no. Funny, absolutely, lots of laughter. Cliffhanger, no. Strong hero and heroine, yes. Good secondary characters, yes, especially Brendan. Good story line including twists and turns, yes, unique too. HEA, yes, excellent epilogue. Cursing yes, not too bad though, if it offends you try to overlook it because this book is worth it. Typos, few nothing to complain about.I was not asked to review this and was not given a copy, I'm also not a friend or in contact with either author. This is my honest review. I highly recommend it to all.

I am a big fan of Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward and Dear Bridget doesn’t disappoint. The book is sweet and romantic. The characters are really easy to love.Simon left me breathless while laughing of his jokes or imagining his hotness. Sense of humor is really important to me! Bridget is admirable and inspiring. Even though she is scared, she is true to her feelings. Brendan won my heart. I would like to give him thousands of hugs.The chemistry of the couple is really intense, but their easy friendship was my favorite thing.I would really recommend this book if you want a light, romantic and well written book! The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because I thought the end was a little rushed. But it is amazing!

I have to say I really enjoyed this book. I could tell it would be great from Chapter 1. I loved the way Bridget and Simon met. There were many laugh out loud moments.Simon is every woman's dream. He is tall, muscular, good humored and successful. He has a secret past that has really transformed him into who is today. He is not one for long term commitment and relationships. but more looking for a good time. I love how he decides if someone is worth going after by his question... If you could be any animal what would you be? You will LOVE his thoughts and some of the answers. When he meets Bridget he gets way more than he bargained for. He has feelings and dreams he never imagined having. Could he calm down and be a family man?Bridget is very responsible and reserved. I also loved her humor and protection of her life she has created. She is definitely not one for taking risks. Can Simon change that? Will their ONE time together turn into something more?? These 2 have an amazing chemistry. It is great to see their internal thoughts as they are having conversations, etc... The notes they leave are also hilarious. You will fall in love with them both. An added bonus to Bridget is her son Brendan. Such a great kid who she sees deserves so much more.Initially I thought I had the story figured out, but boy was I wrong. This book has it all.. Laugh out loud moments, heart ache, love, twists and turns and so much more.I highly recommend.

British bedmate with Simon and Bridget is a very well written rom com. The writers are a gold mine. Their joint penmanship is genius. They write about real trauma and issues. There is always a plot twist you weren’t expecting. Swoon worthy.

The storyline was so cute and the characters were so fun to follow. I was immediately immersed into the book and probably read in a span of three days (would’ve been sooner but i typically only read at night). Definitely worth the read!

Here we met Simon and Bridget. They have loads of chemistry and spark is there between them, but tragedy is taking a toll on them and pausing them to take steps towards their future. I really loved the backdrop of this book. It gave me goosebumps because it was nostalgic for me as it gave me feels of Grey's Anatomy. Vi Keeland & Penelope Ward have done a fabulous job with this book. I would definitely recommend it to all. Most definitely worth reading it and listening it.

Au début j’ai pensé que c’était un livre de plus écrit pour alimenter les rêves érotiques de ses lectrices avec un protagoniste au corps de dieu grec comme il se doit et des descriptions très suggestives des échanges sexuels.Cependant, à mesure que l’intrigue se développe, la psychologie des personnages devient plus fouillée. Elle met à jour, entre autres, les traumatismes qui les ont amenés à agir comme il le font.En avançant dans la lecture, de nombreux rebondissements surgissent qui ajoutent du suspens au récit et compliquent encore la situation initiale.Tout cela est parfaitement résolu de main de maître (un peu conte de fées quand même :=))En résumé et pour ne pas « spoiler » l’intrigue, un livre très bien écrit qui fait passer un agréable moment.

While quite similar to the authors' other works in terms of plot and characters it had its own flair and was still very enjoyable to read. I really appreciated the fact that the internal conflict of the book was handled mid way through and was not dragged out to be the climax. I always prefer it when the conflict is external and the couple stays to weather the storm together as they did in this book.

I have absolutely no doubt that if you read the first chapter you will be completely hooked on the story. A true gem. I most definitely recommend it. 😉

Ah, what another bloody brilliant book by these two talented authors. I LOVED Simon. Dirty mouthed, dirty in the bedroom, he was fantastic to read. I loved Bridget too. Her circumstance is something a lot of women can relate to and her feelings and thoughts were written exceptionally well. There are some books where I drop off to snoozeville but every line had me desperate for the next.Absolutely couldn't put it down.The twist at the end had me gasping aloud but it was the chemistry between the two leads that had me rooting for them every inch of the way.Incredible story.Thanks ladies and can't wait for your next collaboration.

Well written with the usual little twist. Bridget is a widow with a young son who meets a younger man, Simon and he snds up becoming her boarder. He falls for her and also for her son. Bridget and Simon try not to be attracted to each other but the chemistry is very strong. They have a very happy and well deserved ending
