Refilling electric razor cleaning cartridges is the smart thing to do, right? The cartridge itself doesn't wear out, so logically you save money and generate less waste by buying the solution and just refilling the cartridges. It all makes perfect sense. . . at least until you try to do it.First of all, good luck getting all the old solution out of the old cartridge. It is not designed to be emptied, and the different chambers and lips inside the cartridge make it tricky to completely empty. You need to remove the bulk of the liquid, rinse with water several times to remove the debris, then stand it on end for a while to let the remaining water drip down to the end with the openings. After that, I used a medicine dropper to get those last drippings out of the cartridge, but the emptying process takes a minimum of 10 minutes if you want to do a thorough job.Getting the new solution in isn't any easier. Even using a small funnel, you get a big mess. Little or no thought was put into designing the spout on the bottle, which dribbles and drips, especially when the bottle is pretty full. A screw-on tapered spout would make the pouring much easier. Perhaps they could sell as a separate item an "installation kit" with a medicine dropper and a drip-free spout that could be reused. I'd pay an extra $5 for that. It just seems that if you're going to sell a product that needs to be poured into a small container, then making that process spill-free should be an important consideration.This solution seems to work as well as the OEM solution, so there's no problem there. The refilling process is just a lot more work and mess than it should be.

Smells just like the original product. Clean and fresh. Blades seem happy no rust etc. the old cartridges are a pain to clean out. Takes a lot of rinsing and shaking.

Product cleans razor same as high-dollar original for much less

While the product seems like a good value, and the scent is fine, it doesn't evaporate like the original Braun solution. The next day the razor head is still very wet. I'll use the rest of the product, but probably won't purchase again.

Lemon scent but not obnoxious.
