Tadpole food
This is perfect for feeding the tadpoles similar to fish flakes, it’s a small tub but the food goes a long way, the only thing I didn’t like was the smell of the food but it’s what the tadpoles like so it is what it is…

My baby frogs love it
I found a lot of frog spawn pulled out of a small pond and left to dry out on the dirt.. I did the decent thing and collected it up, not knowing if any of the young would survive being out of water. I took a bucket with me to harvest some of the pond water. A week or so later there were changes and the little ones grew out of the spawn. I went to my local aquatic shop and purchased some oxygenating plants. As they grew I wondered what to give them to eat and as usual Amazon were there to help. They love this grub, as soon as I sprinkle some on the water the braver ones rush up to take the flakes just like fish. Most rewarding.

... out of school club and I saw this food recommended on a web site about their care
We were lucky enough to be given a tub full of frog spawn for our out of school club and I saw this food recommended on a web site about their care. The stuff smelt diabolical, but the taddies didn't seem to mind, a tiny sprinkle and we would have an absolute feeding frenzy as they rushed around on the surface of the aquarium scooping up. We had the fattest healthiest looking tadpoles that I have ever seen and the all hatched into very cute little frogs, at which stage we took them back to the pond they came from. I am very happy with the product and will buy it again, but I will look around locally first as £4.99 for postage was extortionate for the size of package that arrived.

Reviewing tadpole food, how did I get to this point in life?!
So Amazon asked if I would review the tadpole food I recently purchased. No clue where to start to be honest so here’s a few highlights…*Smells absolutely disgusting, a mix of fishy seaweed kind of stink, but I’m no tadpole so that could be enticing for all I know 🤔*It’s flaky, guess that makes it easy to eat for the little guys*Floats nicely on the surface to encourage them up so we can spot how they are changing but then sinks to the bottom when uneaten to add to the stinky detritus at the bottom of the tank.*Overall the tadpoles seem to be growing as expected and clearly haven’t starved so I guess it must be doing what it says on the tub!
