Great little book
Very good. We travel everywhere with our two little Westies who love to go on adventures. We tend to go to the same places, but now we have new places to explore.

Internet warrior listings - not based on actual experience - waste of time.
The book has some good places in it, but as any book that seems to cater and receive funding from certain places. I'm relatively in the know at at least my area, and the greatest things have been left out, and some others are in there that make no sense. For example, the three nearest dog parks to me in the southern New Hampshire area are not listed, however, it does list a Nadeau's Subs restaurant as dog friendly - a restaurant which is pick up only, and is a simple corner piece to a gas station convenience store. There are precious few outdoor seating restaurants in the area, and I have not seen easily the top ten listed.Something tells me that the research in this book is based on search engines, rather than actual experience. As someone who is completely brand new to the area, maybe there are some good listings for dog friendly hotels, but that's about it. You would have better luck joining local discussion pages and asking the locals where to go.

A must have for dog owners!
I just LOVE this book! My husband and I try to take our dogs everywhere we can with us. And this book makes those adventures even more possible and fun!

Misses
Missing a lot of places to stay..at least on Cape Cod. For example, we always take our dogs to Bayshore or Chandler in Provincetown. They have been dog friendly for years and no sign of them. Looking for a place on the Cape that is dog friendly for one night (before going to Bayshore) and a number of the places listed in this book did not allow dogs. Found a place using the internet. May be helpful for certain places to visit with dogs, but I am unimpressed and wish I didn't buy the book.

Not off to a good start.
Last copyright was 2014. Drove to the North Shore, Plum Island location listed in the book and dogs are not allowed, even in the car. We were turned away at the gate. This is the first place we picked from the book. Not off to a good start.

No more helpful than google.
Not as helpful as i would have liked or else new england really is not dog-friendly . I would get it from the library and not buy this book.

Not worth the money.
Not worth the money. Some places, it is not too clear if they were updated for dog friendliness. Not that many options and you find most of it online.
